Two microphones are included in the correct item. If you buy here, however, you'll only get one microphone and spend a lot of time explaining what the word "pair" means and why "microphones" is plural. I've tried three times to buy something from this site, and each time the fulfillment center sends a single microphone, despite promises that they understand and will send the correct product. I'd recommend buying from sweetwater or another vendor.
Yes, you will receive two matched microphones, but this package is more expensive than purchasing two separate microphones. I would not advise you to purchase this; instead, get the Anniversary Edition.

That was a complete waste of time. br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. A year later, this ripoff is still being advertised as a pair of microphones. IT'S NOT A SET OF TWO! A single microphone is all that is available. Why is Amazon allowing this to go on?.
Amazon Warehouse was where I got it. The item is supposed to come as a set of two - which is currently retailing for $550 per pair and $250 per individual (give or take a few dollars) on major authorized reseller sites. I received a refund from Amazon because I ordered the incorrect item. As a result, I don't see why it should be rated lower than 5 stars. If you expect two microphones, expect only one- Some people appear to have gotten a pair; based on the feedback received from others Apart from that, this is a fantastic microphone, and I doubt you'll find a more well-rounded large diaphragm microphone for under $1,000.
Please pay attention to what others have to say. I didn't expect them to send a pair, and I figured they would. There was only one microphone sent. I'm coming back.
"Small cosmetic imperfection on top, front, or sides of item" is the reason for the low price. The item will be repackaged after it has been received. " OK, that appears to be the case. Unfortunately, there was only one Mic set delivered. As listed, this is not a matched pair. I probably should have made a point of waiting for the product to be listed at the stated price, but instead I simply returned it using Amazon's return button. This is the first time I've felt compelled to do so in all my years of Amazon usage. I've made a mental note of the seller's name and will refrain from making any further purchases just in case. This review is primarily about my disappointment, as I have come to expect order reliability based on my previous experiences. I'm confident that the Rode NT1-A is a great microphone. A would have sufficed in my case. Unfortunately for Rode, this has now opened the door for me to reconsider that actual purchase decision and see if there is another possible set of microphones that will do the job, as I now have to look for a pair of mics at a good (for me) price. It may again end with a Rode, but this is how, through no fault of Rode's, they may lose future purchases because I had to look again and may find a better value for my needs and possibly stick with that going forward. It wasn't just about the brand; I was looking for something that seemed to be a good deal. When compared to a brand I didn't know much about, the Rode name gave me an extra push to buy. Now you have to add up all the little costs of a return, drop it off, and wait for it to finish. I don't think I'll save much money on my next purchase because I'll have to roll all of these costs into a new purchase. Thank you for taking the time to read my Rode NT1-based review. It was an adventure.
I was hoping for a matched pair when I placed my order. Which, in layman's terms, equates to two microphones, correct? When it arrived, I was ecstatic to open it up and discover huuuh? Only one? I returned it and ordered it from Sweetwater, which is exactly what I should have done in the first place (slaps forehead)br>There was nothing wrong with the mic's quality that I could tell.
The product itself is excellent, but there is only one microphone and no shock stand included. I thought there were two microphones included. br>br>It appears that this is what was sent.
For the price of two, you get a microphone. It's a challenge. Only one microphone is being sold for the price of two. I had to return the package twice because I assumed it had been lost in the mail and accepted that they would send it again.
They should update the listing to reflect that it is a single microphone rather than a pair. It's deceptive, as it charges twice as much for a single used microphone.
