Technically, it can do either because an adapter for both is always available.
Yes, it is among the best in the industry.
I believe the quality of the quarry from the United States will be significantly higher than that of China, but the one I have is still quite good.
Selected User Reviews For Blue Blackout Spark SL XLR Condenser Mic for Recording and Streaming, Large-Diaphragm Cardioid Capsule, Shockmount and Protective Case
Excellent microphone that produces a ridiculously clear and loud sound for its price point. It meets my expectations when it comes to recording and streaming music online. Because it's such a powerful microphone, make sure your studio or recording location is properly soundproofed, as it will pick up every stray noise, from passing cars to your chair squeak.
I don't give 5 stars to tech unless it's really good. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but I believe it comes with a three-year warranty. I think it should come with an xlr cable by default, but I understand that selling things separately is how they make money, so I understand. A standard baseline cable will not run this thing to its full capacity, but if you have access to a decent dual core/quadcore cable, it should suffice. Advantages. br>br> - - - - - - - - – Solid mic with a 20db switch. Proper settings are essential, and once you've got them, it'll catch almost everything you need. br>br>contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this method. It does not come with any of the components that make it work as a stand-alone unit, such as a 48v preamp. As a result, make sure you have a power source for it, such as an amp or a ghost power source. The blue icicle works, but it also heats up a lot because the icicle is rated for a 44v power output rather than a 48v power output. Also, you'll have to carry it if you don't have a stand.
I swapped out my USB Razer Seiren X Pro for a wireless Razer Seiren X Pro. This has provided me with the high-quality speaker voice that I was looking for. There's no longer any hollow room noise, and other sounds are becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish. I can also control this a lot better with my GoXLR! I've made the best decision of my life! br>br>Points are small.
1. A XLR cable is required. I didn't expect it to come without one, but because I didn't read everything, I had to wait an extra couple of days for one. Duh.
2. If you're going to buy one, make sure it's a heavy-duty stand. This thing makes my mic stand, which has a low clearance, creak and sound like it's about to break. As soon as I can, I'll start saving for a better one.
br>br>I'm a YouTube content creator who also streams. This microphone is ideal for my voice, which is distinct in that it has a bassy mid-range. My voice has a tone to it that allows me to use almost any microphone with minimal eq. This mic picks up my low and mid tones amazingly well. It gives my voice a pleasant warmth (think radio announcer) and a lot of presence; however, keep in mind that different microphones are better suited to different tones of voice; I read somewhere that this mic is best for low and mid toned voices. br>br>One thing to keep in mind is that I use a GOXLR Mini for my interface, which has the best preamp on the market and produces high-quality audio. The Blue Spark SL GOXLR Mini and the Blue Spark SL GOXLR Mini were made for each other. It has significantly improved my work flow because I no longer have to waste time post-processing my voiceovers. I record and immediately begin post-production video editing.
I haven't put the microphone to the test yet because I just got it. So far, the only annoyance I've encountered is that it does not come with a power cord, which must be purchased separately. It's not the worst thing in the world. This was just something I wanted to bring up. I'm not sure why an electrical product, with the exception of batteries, does not come with a power cord. Despite the fact that I believe they should as well.
I chose this over the Shure Sm7B because I was on a budget. While the Shure's quality is unrivaled, I paired the Spark with a GoXLR and the results have been fantastic. This is a significant improvement over the Yeti, which is a standard USB microphone. Again, I purchased this as an upgrade to my starter kit, and the quality has been excellent. I intend to upgrade to the Sm7B and keep the Spark as a backup microphone. br>br>Overall, this is a fantastic microphone, especially for content creators who are just getting started.
I had previously purchased the USB version, which I still have, and I was so pleased with it that I decided to purchase this one to use with my external audio interfaces. For years, I've relied on an Audio Technica 4033A, which continues to perform admirably. If you're looking for something clean for all-around recording, you might not want this, but if you're looking to add something to your collection that has a decidedly unique character with a bit of pleasant sizzle, you'll like this. It's still a good choice for someone who does podcasts or voiceovers, in my opinion. It's an excellent microphone.
This microphone has been with me since 2018. It's what I use for voiceovers and live streaming. Even when I was using a phantom power supply and a cheap USB sound card, it sounded great; now that I have a GoXLR, it sounds even better. br>The build quality is excellent; however, it is a little heavy for cheap mic arms. br>Overall, it has served me well and continues to do so; it sounds far superior to the Yeti, and it also looks great.
