My set included one.
No, there isn't a microphone on this one. Only a pair of headphones, a microphone cable, and some open-source software are required.
The XLR is your best bet. You could plug a USB microphone into a small control board and then XLR it to this unit, but that would just add more clutter to your audio chain.
It includes a USB type-C port. type c to USB -

One is for commercial work and voice-over. The other is used for weather forecast broadcasting. They work perfectly, are simple to set up, and are extremely long-lasting. I'm making use of high-quality materials. Keep that in mind if you're working on a project that requires high-quality microphones. These are the most effective user interfaces available.
The audio interface appears to be in good working order, and I have no issues with it. But I do have a question for you. Why would you say you'll include a nicer set of headphones in the package only to include a cheap pair of headphones? Headphones that are not at all like the ones advertised. All you have to do now is invest in an audio interface. Packages should not be purchased. The additional $40 isn't worth it. They aren't worth even $5.
So far, I've been very pleased with this product; the interface is small but sturdy, and the headphones are of good build and sound quality. The XLR cable is also quite substantial, and the connectors in my microphone and interface fit snugly. The set- Although the set-up was a little time-consuming, the step-by-step instructions made it simple to follow, and there are several free recording program downloads included. I downloaded Protools First, which initially appeared to be a bit intimidating, but there are a number of tutorial videos and PDF guides available. Overall, I think this is a fantastic product with a fantastic price tag!.
It's difficult to evaluate a package deal like this. It would have been 5 stars if it had only been the Solo, but the other items in the package detracted a few points. br>br>At least at this price point, I found the Scarlett Solo to be one of the most highly recommended audio interfaces I could find. It's well-made, simple to operate, and, when combined with a good microphone, it's the ideal setup for any Solo audio situation. br>br>The Solo was fantastic, and the included XLR cable, I assume, worked well (I didn't hear anything in my recordings that would lead me to believe otherwise), but perhaps a more expensive cable would sound even better? )br>br>The headphones are the biggest drawback. While they do the job, the sound quality isn't great, which can be problematic when used as studio headphones. The construction appeared to be flimsy and inexpensive. br>br>While the package was adequate for the price, I wish I had chosen one with a different set of headphones.
br>br>Perfect interface for anyone who wants to use XLR mics with their PC. br>br>Included headphones sound great. br>br> I'm using a fairly inexpensive microphone that came with an XLR to 2 adapter. 5mm mic jack cable that used to make a horrible noise - This interface transforms an otherwise useless microphone into something usable. br>br>At work, I use the more expensive model with two XLR inputs and a high-quality condenser mic, which also works well. I would strongly suggest it. br>br>Excellent for recording vocals and instruments, as well as a good streaming interface.
For beginners or just recording vocals, this is a fantastic product. The headphones are mediocre at best, but that's beside the point. A huge plus is the bundle with Albeton Live Lite. With their instructions, it was extremely simple to set up. I'm using an old Macbook Pro, which worked flawlessly. I would strongly suggest it.
This was purchased to set up the audio component of our church worship services video streaming. It worked well and was simple to connect to the Dell laptop computer that we're using to mix the video and audio streams we're sending over the internet. Setup is a breeze! The fact that it came with a cable and headphones added a lot to the overall value of the purchase. We've only had it up and running for a few weeks, but it's done an excellent job so far.
Love it! When you plug it in, make sure to read the instructions carefully and download the drivers that are recommended. It's extremely simple to get started! The studio headphones are adequate, and the xlr cable is exceptional.
