A rode mic isn't within everyone's budget so this is the best bang for your buck. The audio quality is fantastic. Good almost to the point of being overrated. My mouth is not facing the mic, so I have to angle it away from my mouth to avoid sounding like Darth Vader. If I do that, it's largely every microphone setup has pros and cons.
