My receiver used this for my wireless monitor, and it lasts for the five hours or so needed to get through the show and still has juice left over. The thing has you covered no more worrying about whether your AA batteries will hold out as long as you need them.
Specifically, if you are worried about your batteries dying during the gig, then this is a MUST have.
With my Shure ULXD2 transmitters, my client is getting over 11 hours of run time.

Batteries of excellent quality.
