I'd recommend higher quality vocals for vocals, but you may be able to get by with something in a pinch. Speaking is the primary purpose of this.
The transmitter and mic are only contained in a small case. Receiver boxes are not for this application.
My stereo system is directly connected to both a speaker and Since I am not a technology expert, I do not know what the cable is called. The game itself was pretty basic, however.

When the transmitter is only 45 feet from the receiver, the audio intermittently stops, and the batteries run out a lot too fast. The audio also crackles and pops, as if on a distant radio station, when the receiver is located at 45 feet from the transmitter. From the receiver's point of view. As of yet, I have not had any problems with any of my purchased models. There is a limit of six devices that can be operated at the same time,.
