It is very easy to hold in your hands. Despite its thinness, the acrylic base is quite dense and the notes are clearly visible. Having hands that are roughly 7 inches across and thumbs that are about 3 inches long, I am able to comfortably play this instrument.

It seems like Kimi is the acrylic kalimba everybody uses, but I'm not sure if there is much difference in how this plays as compared to YouTube reviews of the Kimi. Since I got my hands on a Kalimba just recently, I have the feeling that they are all the same, just with different brands. I have never played a Kalimba before, so don't take my word for it. It is SO DANG CUTE! I bought it along with a flatboard and while I'm in love with the resonance of the flatboard, I think this one deserves to be kept.
In a nutshell A Kalimba has such a beautiful sound and looks stunning when played and observed. It's a huge obsession of mine. I brought it with me on a camping/rock climbing trip in North Carolina without any issues. This is my second Kalimba so far, and it's easily my favorite. The case is also very protective and I didn't have any problems with it. The impression is very good.
This product came in a perfectly packaged box with everything you need to keep it safe and functional. There is a lot of depth to the prismatic colors, and the aesthetic is great. On youtube, there are several tutorials that are reminiscent of guitar hero that are easy to use and make learning to play so easy I feel like a master already. The purpose of buying this is to no longer have to be on my phone so much, since it's a terrible It would be more fun to make music and art. I highly recommend it.
This is an adorable picture. has a shiny, beautiful finish and I am in love with The only things that make me sad are a couple of minor quality control imperfections, like a scratch next to the wood, glue overflow, and the imperfection on the back, which I'm not sure how to explain. In my opinion, these imperfections upset me a little because I have expectations that everything be perfect, but nothing that justifies returning it for a refund or a I would be lucky if I got a replacement with major defects. The photos aren't the best, but I tried to show the scratch as best as I could. I don't know what you would call them. Acrylic bubbles maybe? This is not my finger print, I think the glue overflowed during the rainbow. I was not able to get a picture of that due to the strong light.
In addition to this, the case it comes in is custom designed to hold the Kalimba safely without letting it move. There is a slight effort involved in getting it out of the padding so you know it will be secure inside the case when you remove it. It is just so cute to see the tuning hammer! It hasn't been useful to me, so I haven't used it. My 5 year old son will have to keep it if he doesn't pilfer it! It really is so cute, everyone in our house loves it. It's a good thing the acrylic Kalimba is lighter than metal. There's no need to worry about it being As far as the feeling of the keyboard, you might say that it's really comfortable in your hand and the balance makes it easy to utilize. I recommend you just take the leap if you're on the fence!.
It took one day to arrive. There are some scratches around the rim and at the back of the book. Since it is acrylic, those scratches are to be These photos have no filters, I took them with a flash, and they came out so nicely! Tints of rainbow were so pleasing to the eye. I have to purchase a tuner because some are out of tune. I was surprised to find that it came with a cleaning rag and a hammer, so that is pretty awesome! You have to work hard for this, but it will be worth it when you get it The acrylic kalimba was not recommended for beginners, but I am delighted with how light it is. My order arrived safely and I am happy with it! Seeing it in person is more impressive than looking at the pictures.
There was straight up some unknown liquid splattered across the tines of the Kalimba right out of the box (not just a few fingerprints, but anything that might get on the fan) and the protective case that came with it appeared to be really scratched and used. As for me, I'm keeping mys as long as it still works and I'm not afraid to clean it up, but for a $40 gift I would be pretty upset if the music instrument looked like this when I gave it to someone. Obviously the seller is lying when it says they're brand new, so go get one somewhere else if you're in the market for a brand new Kalimba.
I was a little weary about this kalimba after I had a bad experience with a different one that didn't have too many reviews. Although there were more reviews than the last one I bought, it still falls below the 100 mark. Despite my expectations, this exceeded them by far! I think the kalimba is beautiful the colors are a lot of fun but still clear, the cat shape of the kalimba is adorable, and it feels very sturdy and durable, no blemishes or scratches. However, the most important thing is to avoid dead tines. I had to do very little tweaking to the tines as the majority of them were already tuned. This item came with all of the accessories pictured
I'm extremely happy with how this turned out. I really like the fact that the kalimba is unmarked (and I also like that it is unmarked)
As somebody who has had to return a different kalimba with not many reviews (multiple.
