These fret stickers arrived folded and creased in the center of them, hence, it could not show better on camera, though the paper was white, so using them wouldn't promote a very good shot. It's a 00 gamble, and that's exactly what it is.
Garbage. br>First and foremost, there are no application instructions. Second, one of the decals was folded into the package. br>Second, there are the decals. 12 and 13 years of age You can't even cut them down to the size of the fret to use to line them up because they're so close together. On top of that, there's no secondary film to apply. br>br>Best of luck with getting them to line up properly. This is a product that I am unable to recommend.
The stickers are simple to apply (and remove if adjustments are required), and they look great once they're done. I've had mine for just over two months and the stickers haven't peeled or appear to want to; They have a good grip on the fretboard. When I play, I occasionally get a sticker edge, but it's not a big deal. They have no effect on my playing, tone, or anything else. Because there is no assistance or alignment tool for applying stickers, everything must be done by hand with a steady hand and a good eye. Personally, I had no problems with it, but be aware that as you progress to the higher, smaller frets, it can become difficult for those of you who are less steady or have larger fingers. When applying the stickers, I'd also suggest looking at a reference picture to see how they should be aligned in order to avoid as many problems as possible.
I'm not sure how the ratings are working out. This is a disaster. I'm not sure how the ratings are so high, but don't waste your time; the reviews gave me the impression that these were at least a little decent, but they look like children's stickers. MAYBE on a kid's guitar, these would look fine. Aside from their obnoxious appearance, each sticker for each fret must be applied one by one. I figured there would be a more efficient way to apply them, but if you get these, make sure you don't make any mistakes when applying them because moving one sticker around completely ruins it and causes creases in the sticker. These should cost 75 cents at the supermarket checkout counter, not $10 on Amazon. Buyer beware; this was not what I had anticipated.
It gives a cheap guitar a lot of character. It has no effect on the way the game is played or the sound that is heard. Has lasted a month of daily use without peeling or loosening.
In terms of how it's laid out on the page, this one is a little different. To make sure the pieces are sitting properly on the fretboard, cut them out individually and lay them on the fretboard. The rest, however, is very simple once this is completed. They haven't started to peel yet, but the look is fantastic.
That's how thin it should be! It's not quite as thin as paper, but it's built to last. It is placed beneath the string and does not obstruct fretting. Inlays are perfectly covered. as a result of which they are not incompatible. My acoustic has gotten a lot better. If your hands are shaky, use tweezers, patience, and a small amount of soap water.
I couldn't believe a small sticker sheet would still arrive folded, with numerous permanent fold marks that would make it difficult to stick. Despite the fact that it cost $4. It was supposed to be usable at 80. Very let down.
