There was a huge explosion

This is a fantastic cymbal. Perfect for a big crash, but I wanted something that could also serve as a ride and wasn't so "great" (deep, attack-oriented). A Custom Projection Crash by Zildjian, for example, is yelp-yelp-yelp-yelp-yelp-yel For the ride sound I wanted, this has a little too much of a ping. more than a Zildjian K Custom Medium Ride Zildjian K Custom Medium Ride Zildjian K Custom Medium Ride Zild.

This cymbal is fantastic! With low and dark frequency, the sound is dry, trashy, yet explosive and big. The cymbal can also have a sound similar to a dry decayed China cymbal. Excellent product.

The sound was exactly what I was looking for in a cymbal. It's also big enough to be used as a ride, though it's a little too wash for that. The cymbal was bent out of shape when I got it, so I didn't give it five stars. It was necessary for me to bend it backwards. It didn't break or crack, thankfully.

This cymbal is stunning and works well in jazz, fusion, pop, and even classic rock. The sound is extremely dry. It also goes well with the Meinl Ching ring.

I've used two different types of them. The first one had a flaw, so I had to order a replacement from Meinl, which was simple and quick. They sounded very different, but they were both fantastic. This is an excellent cymbal, and Meinl is a reputable company.
