The buffalo heads are here!
Bongos are present in two sets. There is a drum skin on each side. Not sure what the question is about
You would want bongos with extended tuning poles that hold them high above a tabletop, just like the ones that you're showing here. In order for the drum heads to vibrate correctly and create a tone, they have open bottoms that need to be ventilated.

In the end, I decided to add $60 to get a better Bongo, WOW, I'm glad I did. All the features of these bongos are infinity better, from the sound, to the feel, to the look. There is one disadvantage of the Meinl over the Easterns, which is that they are heavier, but their sound more than makes up for it. I am very glad that I returned those cheap sounding Easters and chose Meinls instead. Compared to the Matadors from LP, I find the floating system of the Meinls to have a richer dynamic range together with the voice and kick louder. There is an improved level of audio clarity and a wider variety of sounds available. In contrast, the Matadors are loud, but lack the Meinls' full-bodied, mean sound.
It's a pleasure to hear these Meinl bongos. Listening to percussion around the world has become an important part of my life. This pair of bongos sounds amazing and is legit. While it seems that the traditional chrome hardware isn't that valuable and that it drops the cost of bongos if you don't buy it, the black metal hardware is plenty strong, so I don't feel that I'll miss it. The drums are gorgeous, and the hardware is very sturdy. Nevertheless, I would never purchase an instrument for its aesthetic qualities this is my second priority. My first concern is price and then the looks, especially if something has a good deal on it. It's always about sound for me! It is also imperative that the build quality be good. I love how well built these are, how comfortable they are to play, and how good they sound. The two of us have recorded together as well. I think they are a better bongo than anyone's. Even before tuning them, I didn't get to them! It was pulled directly from I love the sound of that. Eventually, I will consider tuning, but they sound so good now I will just play them for the time being. Meinl, you did a great job. Rubberwood that has been finished with a glossy finish is just beautiful. It is well made and fits nicely. This is a product that will last a lifetime. The leather is tough and To make tuning easy and easy to accomplish, these cars included a wrench and lug grease. You're the best!.
My Meinl congas have just been upgraded with these bongos. There is great resonance, impressive tones and slaps. I got them tuned to my tastes, but a spare key is included in case something goes wrong. Our prices are affordable and our quality is professional.
These headphones are high quality and sound great, but you have to tune them after you receive The fact that this happens is not a complaint, but merely to let prospective buyers know. These are absolutely beautiful and the finish makes them even better to display when not in use they are amazing to leave out on display.
With the sound and adjustability of these bongos, even though I am new to bongos and other hand drums, they appear to work for me. A stand can be easily mounted on them, and are put together solidly and are fairly heavy. My method for eliminating ringing involves dampening the heads slightly.
On the small skin head of the first set that arrived, there were a few small weak points. My return was processed in one day and I received a replacement. A very high level of craftsmanship has been achieved. It turns out that the item claimed to be made in China is actually sold by a German company but made in Thailand.
It did take me some time to find the right tuning for the drums so they sounded as I wanted.
