As far as I can tell, the bongos in the M201 series are the same price as what's listed on the website. There seems to be no difference in price between the M201 and M201-R series. No matter what finish, it will cost you a total of 99 plus shipping.

I am extremely impressed with the quality of the workmanship and the sound. This is a great kit with a vintage look and the shells and hardware have been meticulously crafted. As a result, it looks and sounds better than I anticipated. My belief would be confirmed if you told me these bongos cost two times as much! It is always best to watch some videos about proper tuning before you mess with the lugs. They should be tuned quite high for classic bongo sound and you should make sure the lugs are tensioned evenly to keep the ring to a minimum and prevent the heads from being damaged. I highly recommend it!.
Matadors are what they are. It goes without saying that they're top-notch! A prejudiced viewpoint may exist in my mind.
