Questions & Answers

How long does the warranty last?

I know the facts to the best of my ability. The warranty for parts is one year, for labor it is 90 days, and for the extended warranty it is four years.

Does it make sense to connect high hat petals to a base drum?

In fact, yes. The Trig in Port cable is tied to your bass drum pedal and the HH Control cable is tied to your high hat You can find more details about how to connect these pedals in the owner's manual.

The RCA plugs in the side allow me to connect this directly to a mixer, such as a DJM 900 NXS channel. Are you able to run it without sound card or other hardware?

As far as mixing goes, I run my quarter inch into my 900 NXS2 mixer, 1/4 inch to RCA plugs. I would think you could also use your second mix, maybe even your MIDI system.

Would it be possible to use it on the airplane or in the car with USB power?

The DC power supply requires a standard AC wall charger, and it cannot be powered using a USB port

It is awful to be covered under warranty
3/5

With the drum I bought, I noticed that the on/off switch was starting to malfunction within 3 months. Within six months, the switch no longer worked. Trying to call Roland, I found that no one was available, so I registered the product and requested a As a result, Roland sent an email containing an RMA number and an address where it should be sent. The warranty shipment wasn't covered by Roland, so I had to pay 35 for it. If you send it with 100, you need to put 00 in UPS. There is a $0. 00 insurance policy Insuring it for the full value of 900 would be easy if I had UPS pack it for me. If you had spent $200, it would have cost almost $200. To send it, you will need to pay 00 dollars. The drum was returned to Roland after the problem was fixed. Furthermore, Roland's customer service representative told me that Roland does not cover shipping costs, regardless of whether or not the problem is a manufacturing fault. Thus, you should avoid buying equipment from Roland and expecting them to cover.

Considering everything that's going on, this is an incredible achievement
5/5

Having waited so long to do the review, I decided to do it now. As for my expectations, they're high, especially at this price. I've tried a lot of drum pads before. As a guitar player and finger tapper, I need to be able to put beats to music. I truly believe this drum controller is better than any other I have used, and for the price I would have returned it if it wasn't. Due to the fact that I plan to only use it as a midi controller, I ended up paying a lot more than I needed to for features I won't ever I can honestly say that this is THE ONLY drum pad I have used that worked well for me as a MIDI controller. Compared to a traditional grid, this layout is a lot better. Taking some time to adjust to it is necessary, but it is an awesome program to use. The mappings for the MIDI pads can be changed to determine which note each is set to trigger. In no time, I mapped it to my DAW (ableton) drum sets. If you are a guitarist or composer who needs to be able to tap out rhythms with accuracy, this is for you. warn you, you will be inaccurate if you tap on the same pad fast (like trying to do a snare roll). It's not a big deal. I can program my old stuff to be fast. Although it is annoying, a portion of the currently available technology means that it cannot be done at the moment. The amount of accuracy I get at 1/16 notes varies according to the tempo. A fraction of the 32 Despite this, I still give this pad a 5 star rating, so it may be a limitation of me rather than the pad. It is not Roland's fault I am not able to use all of the features. I would give it a 4 because of the price. Thanks for reading!.

It is amazing how many layers there are! As a beginner drummer I own bongos, congas, timbales, canjons, an electronic drum set, natural cymbals, cowbells, a tamborine, after injurying my thumb playing hand drums I bought this handmade power drum
5/5

There is nothing better than 20!.

It is a ton of fun if you are a hand drummer! You're going to have so much fun with this
5/5

Even though I'm not an expert with it, I enjoy using it to create music and the wide variety of drums and sounds I can choose from is wonderful. In spite of that, I give it a 4 in value since I believe it is overpriced.

Check out this site if you are a table tapper
5/5

Table tappers are people who tap on tables. During my lunch breaks and at the dinner table, I always have my finger on my desk bopping out a beat. As someone who plays keyboard and guitar, I've always thought it would be cool to have an instrument I could use my fingers on. When I saw this product mentioned in a magazine article, I investigated immediately. I ended up purchasing one right away. (I have a sample pad machine with the square buttons, but this is way better) What I like about it is that I find it really enjoyable. It was connected to a JC-33 My new keyboard amp is an 880, and I am being blown away by it. The price seems a little on the high side maybe the price will drop as more are sold.

The thing I'm using is awesome
5/5

The thing I'm using is awesome. As soon as it showed up, I couldn't stop jamming. These patches are very inspiring and can easily be adapted to electronics using accounting techniques. It would have been nice to have bought.

While this drum machine performs pretty well, it cannot compare to other drum machines at the same.

It's a great day for me! I find it to be helpful! The library has quite a few sounds I won't be using, but it contains a lot of sounds I will use
5/5

The speed and sensitivity are amazing, and the learning curve is very short. As well as playing some melodic instruments like bells, gongs, santoor, crotales, and others, I also sing a little bit. The instruments can all be tuned to any notes/scale(s) you like. It has something for almost everyone and has the quality you expect from Roland. Your MIDI device can also be set to be the master or slave so that it can sync with any other device you have. In general, the Korg Wavedrum is better, but honestly, their sounds are different enough that you could own one of each and have a lot more versatility.
