While it is expensive, there are no other features like this available! This game has increased my playing time significantly, and daily I learn new things. I've been using it for a month now, and it's been a very positive experience!.
At this price range, this is an excellent choice!.
Many people praised the sound, but I was already using VSTs with samples made up of dozens of times more samples (the kit has a 200MB limit), so I was unimpressed. While it was better than my old module, it wasn't as good as what you can accomplish with a MIDI interface. One of my biggest complaints is that my Alesis Surge pad and pedal are not fully compatible. The pedal is a particular issue, regardless of what I do to the trigger settings. It is barely possible to turn the wheels. Even worse, if you have finally set up your pads, you cannot save your settings globally only one kit is able to be saved. Switch to a new kit and begin again. Having a connection problem and looking old school, the editor application looks like it's from 15 years ago. Even if you install the module, you won't be able to use it. This is all packed in a plastic box that is fragile. In my dreams, I thought buying this module would be the answer for all my trigger and sound needs, but it disappointed me. The Strike SE kit is probably the best choice for using this item. I do think it was nice that they included the cables and the (plastic) mount with screws, however. Please make sure you download the app from their whole kit page, not the module site, not since years have they added the new version the module site has not been updated.
have connected your pads and wires, you can begin using them Currently, you do not have an Aux trigger input for cymbals (such as cowbell triggers, splash cymbals, roto toms, etc. ). It took me a while to replace my Tom #4 and make the splitter (for the two aux inputs)
Alesis, please add at least two more trigger (TRS) inputs. *Also, DO NOT use the included base mount, it is way too thin and won't hold your camera in place. (both have the My Roland Octapad SPD-55 was metal, so I was able to use it with no problems There is a 20 mount that fits perfectly.
