Besides inputting data from USB, direct line, and Midi, I have sampled it by playing. All of them have the same sound. My only issue with the program is the darn wheel, click method of renaming and renaming stuff. Although I find that interface to be a bit frustrating, it is not a deal breaker for me.
For a little more than a year, I have been using the Alesis StrikePad for recording at home. A number of samples are provided, and they are done very well. high-speed data transmission occurs Despite the fact that they are not good, the hat samples are still -) After you've set up the kit(s) you'd like, the unit is extremely easy to use, and I'm extremely I think the user interface is a bit disappointing with this product 1980s technology at its most cutting edge. You must navigate the library of samples, identify and name them, etc. This process is extremely convoluted and labor intensive. With the use of a computer You can also use an An interface based on a menu might have made this product very good, but instead I have always felt as if I was using only about five percent of its functionality because its navigation and setup functions are so inconvenient. Using a visually stimulating method The current price of this piece of gear is twice the value if it included a web-based interface and improved search functions.
I was torn between going with the Roland unit or the Alesis Strike. After weighing the advantages of each, I decided to go with the Strike. The most important reasons were the amount of memory My decision has turned out to be a good one. This pad is excellent in every way, it works great, it allows you to put a lot of samples in it, and I love the lighting. There are certain things about the Strike that are negative, including the lack of documentation for it. This Roland unit has been around for several years and is a highly capable piece of hardware. Videos and chat rooms explain how to set up things on the Internet, so there is an abundance of information. It's a pity that the Strike does not benefit from this feature. In other words, adding a pedal to the unit can be a difficult task. out which pedals will work with one of these units may cause you to pull out your hair, never mind trying to configure them. In other words, if this is your first time trying out pads and getting them configured to work with your system, you may have a rough go of things. Secondly, once you have everything set up correctly, the Alesis Strike is a terrific.
The program has lots of potential, but without editing and librarian software, it is I cannot use this drum pad since it does not support loop sync as other drum pads do.
It is hard to hear him tap away at this thing, but every so often I can hear him!.
I had misplaced the software card with the password for the In my contact with Alesis support, I keep getting the message that maybe their reply was in my spam folder, but it was It has been a year since I purchased the item. I have not experienced how it works and how it sounds. My bad taste is just too bad.
My favorite thing about multipad is its versatility. If it included more drum samples, then I would have given it five stars. This is a good option if you intend to load your own content. According to my memory, there was only one. The kit includes five patches that can be used.
The possibilities really are endless with this machine.
