In what way is the latency measured?

The latency of my processor is not an issue, as it is a fast one. I have set my buffer to 64 by the way.

While these pads aren't the most sensitive, they are by far the best value for your money
5/5

something out of the way, no you do not get pads that are comparable to, say, MPC pads from Akai or the pads from nicer Novation, M-Series interfaces. Controllers for audio and other devices. This alternative costs less than half the price of the cheapest one, yet offers X-rated benefits right at the beginning A low-cost MIDI gear with Y pad functionality is hard to find (the only one I can find with that feature for this price). This device has proven in my experience to be a great creativity enabler, as I can configure the MIDI output from the different "scenes" using an extremely easy-to-use software. The drums are then input into the program, when I am attempting to input a If I want REALLY good dynamics on my finger drums, I go to one of my other controllers with an improved pad setup. The thing is, I can use this for so many things because this feather type of drum doesn't require such a large circle. When not in need of that feature, the velocity sensitivity works just fine when playing with a firm Neither this unit nor it's twins are double-sided I don't want to be triggered in any way or have a reaction to any unwanted behavior. However, pads do not pick up quick double hits from two fingers as well as units that are five to ten times as expensive, but really, what can you do? Whenever I want to do something quick, I assign the two pads for my bass drum and snare drum to be side-by-side in the middle, and spread the rest of the kits out over the rest of the pads to be hit at the same time.

Despite the very low price of the item, the quality of the item The strengths of this product and what to expect have been outlined well in my description. was not expecting top-notch pad sensitivity, so my expectations were reasonable, and so far I have been very happy with my purchase. Aesthetically, I quite like the blue coloration too. Isn't it nice to like what you like to look at?.

It fulfills the purpose for which it was created perfectly
4/5

The Korg Nanopad 2 in this color variation has the same features as the original Nanopad. The fact that this was available was news to me Perhaps Japan is the only country that offers this. The Nanopad 2 is exactly the same as a standard Nanopad 2 except that it is a different color. A copy of the documentation comes with it A somewhat annoyingly folded instruction manual in several different languages, including English (usually found in products of this type The manufacturer saves time and money by not having to print and fill the box with paper. Many people have reported the cable missing, but it is actually in a separate box compartment. This could be missed, as I can see how it could happen. You can view it on the other end of the box if you cannot see it There's a place for it. As I scan the manual on my computer, I connect it to my desktop An old MacBook Pro running the latest version of OS X is my laptop. As soon as I connected the Nanopad to Windows 8 and GarageBand, the drum kit I was using began assigning its pads to what was selected on its screen. You don't need to fuss over I was pleased to see that it worked according to plan. Other commenters have noted that one has to tap the pads hard to obtain maximum velocity and Even at the one you think should be constant, i. e. , the one you think would be able to adjust, this can be resolved to some degree by adjusting the velocity curve. The velocity has not changed, there has been some variation, and you have to hit it pretty hard to maximize it. You have to set the MIDI velocity as high as you can to help with this. Although it would be nice if you could change the pad sensor's range so you don't have to hit it so hard. Overall, this device does exactly what I wanted it to do Software drums are controlled with this device. It can do other things, too A pad can send MIDI note numbers controlled by the user, while the X-Y pad can send values automatically You can find Y pads in almost any hardware store. To see how these functions are used in creative ways, check out YouTube. Therefore, aside from the pad sensitivity which others may or may not object to, I would say that this product is very good at what it was designed to do, and for the price it is probably the best option on the market. I consider that to be a four star rating.

Working with EZ Drummer 2, and yes, it does what it is supposed to
5/5

The only problem is that you have to tap them a bit hard for them to work, but they work and do the job. EZDrummer 2 allows you to choose a midi controller in two places. Though both places can be selected, you should check both places.

This is not to be used by professionals
3/5

It is not a horrible product, but it has flaws, and it is not for professionals. It does not work with Win10, on my end at least, even when I use their new Windows 10 USB driver. As soon as I switched to a Win7 machine, it started working. There is no way to reassign the output of the CC procedure You will need a pad of This is a serious problem. In order to deal with the X, you must bear down This is really hard for your fingers to use after a while, you have to press a lot on it to make it work smoothly. There's a thimble missing from my pocket. As far as everything else goes, it's pretty smooth. My intention is to get rid of it as soon as I find a better solution.

That's not my cup of tea! I think this is a good controller in all honesty
3/5

The S88 mk2 is downgrading from Maschine Mikro, which I had bought as a replacement after purchasing a Native Instruments Maschine Micro. There was something that I couldn't get used to. The movie wasn't my cup of tea.
