Questions & Answers

My understanding of the pickups is still unclear as to whether they are active or passive. Would anyone be able to confirm which is which. In addition to that, I see there is a toggle switch for changing it from active to standby?

You can choose from 6 different Yamaha basses in this listing. A passive pickup is used for the 100 and 200 series, while an active pickup is used for the 300 series . The instant EQ switch has three settings. There is a toggle switch for selecting active or passive in the 500 series.

Can this be used in what kind of case?

The majority of cases are sized for a long-term storage device Basses of this scale should fit, according to my understanding. I'm sure it helps you to know that the body is 13 inches wide, 20 inches long, and 43 inches tall. It takes approximately 5 inches to reach the bottom strap button from the top of the headstock. I wish you the best of luck!

With this bass, what gauge strings do you get?

According to our calculations, they are in the 45-55 age range My sincere thanks go out to

The website where I can purchase upgrade parts for my Yamaha TRBX605-5 Does string mean?

There is no simple answer to that When it comes to bridge, I like Graph Tech, and for other things, I like The pickups I prefer - that's my taste thing, Duncan's great, pots - not so sure. It depends what you are doing when it comes to mojo tone

I was glad to have waited for it
5/5

Despite being a novice bass player, with 4 basses now (Fender, Ibanez, Schecter), I keep reading a lot of articles on this instrument. Quite a while ago, I had it on my wishlist, and 2 days ago, it arrived. Under the gloss is a red tiger maple, which perfectly matches the black finish I purchased- This is a beautiful thing, in my opinion. I notice that the bass is heavier than my other bass amps and has some neck drop, but all of the controls are spot on sensitive and easily adjustable to my tastes. Since the pieces arrived with round wound strings, I am switching them out and replacing them with tape wound strings. In spite of that, the process is fluid With the round wounds, the bass tone is throaty. I still find it a little puzzling that you can switch between active and passive sounds, but at this early stage, I like the passive tone better because it is more passive-not as muscular. Just by moving the action closer to the fretboard, I was able to get a throaty and clean There is enough space between the pickups so that the controls can be adjusted between them That is, in the middle of the neck, or even toward the ends of the actions. I find them to be very pliable, even more so than my other Depending on your taste, you can set the controls to either center/neutral, or to cut or boost each section, from the bass to the middle to the A control for pickup balance is included as well, which is nice for obvious reasons. Having a lot of range in the master volume control, I had to spend an absurd amount of time on my amplifier (Behringer BXL 3000) to reduce an echo effect. The bass is just superb. On the back of the neck, I used a lighter maple and on the body, I chose a gloss black with faint stripes of tiger maple (faint but still visible). My heartfelt recommendation for this bass is that it is amazing. The comparable bass I tried at the local guitar stores goes for hundreds more, and doesn't have the same look or sound as this model. This is a good buy.

It is unsure how Yamaha's bass guitars made in Indonesia are controlled in terms of quality
3/5

The bass guitar was really close to being perfect, but I really wanted to like it, but there seems to be a problem with Yamaha guitars made in Indonesia. A problem occurred with the Yamaha TBRX504 I received, which picked up a local radio station and played it through my amp when I powered it up. When the radio signal is cut off in passive mode, no signal is received. When the guitar is in passive mode, it can be played without a battery. In any case, the E string suddenly became louder by about 10db over the other 3 strings after a couple of weeks. For Android, I used Sound Meter app, which is a good app for measuring sound volume. It is not possible to adjust pickup poles. The height of the E string did not seem to make much difference when I raised it. Although a string can be raised so far without making playing it more difficult, you will need to use it at a lower height. After changing the strings, the problem with uneven volume initially vanished, but then about ten per cent of the volume returned Then it came back 14 days after that. When the E string breaks in, it becomes looser and vibrates more, which leads to its sound being ten decibels louder than the other three Due to the fact that the E string must break in before the uneven loudness problem becomes apparent, the factory will not be able to detect I decided to ask Amazon for a refund on the item because there was a problem with the high-pitched E string, as well as an active circuit I cannot use in an environment of strong radio signals. When the replacement TRBX504 arrived, I was happy to discover that the active circuit did not pick up a local Contrary to the TRBX504 initial active circuit, this new active circuit had significantly less gain. There was an equal volume in the E string to the other 3 strings, but I knew that I would have to wait until the string had broken in before I could draw any conclusions. This is the order in which I adjusted the intonation of the G, D, and A strings. After trying to intonate the E string, I discovered that it was 10 cents flat at the 12th fret, and that I could not move the saddle closer to the nut because the saddle adjustment screw had run out of space. I started adjusting the saddle on the E string and it was about 20 cents flat at the 12th fret. Despite the opinion of a local guitar repair shop over email, which indicated perhaps that the factory installed the bridge incorrectly, a definitive diagnosis could not be made until the guitar was actually seen. Likewise, I noticed that the E string had started to sound louder than the other 3 strings, possibly by about 3db. Due to these roadblocks, I decided to return this even exchange TRBX504 back to Amazon for a refund as opposed to waiting any longer for the string to break completely in. I'm grateful for Amazon's services. *Here's the thing Yamaha makes rather excellent pianos and its made in Japan guitars probably show the same level of excellence as well, but the quality of the made in Indonesia bass guitars from Yamaha is a lot of question.

Bass guitar with a super-low output
5/5

Wow! I couldn't believe this bass was so good for the price! I absolutely love the look and feel of it. As well as being great, it sounds great. Initially, I was surprised to see there was no pickup switch, but then realized the mixing was controlled by the knobs. Bass like this cannot be found anywhere else within this price Having played guitar for years, I needed or wanted a bass for a while now. It is the first bass guitar I've used, and I highly recommend it.

This bass guitar offers a great value at an affordable price! There are several excellent low-cost options available here Bass guitars at a price you can afford
4/5

As the action was a bit high, it did require some set up. While the instrument is not the best in the world, its quality is superb and its active controls allow for large amounts It is possible for an expert player to want more than this model, however, if you are a beginner or intermediate player, then this model is perfect. It will be a part of your life for years to come. This is my second Yamaha guitar, and I enjoy the tone, playability, and value they provide. A small selection of inexpensive guitars preceded this purchase, but I am not regretting my choice.
