There are a lot of great, inexpensive musical instruments out there. "For beginners" does not really mean what I think it does. Musicians are more likely to have difficulty learning to play instruments that are of poor quality. A guitar designed for advanced musicians is probably not suitable for beginners as well. Regardless, it's not really the kind of product that calls for subjective rating, since it's not exactly high-end, nor is it cheap, so that part is good for beginners. My favorite thing about this bass guitar is its beautiful appearance, and second the tone this baby produces is outstanding! To get a good sound from my old bass, I had to use a bass petal, but with this Bass, there is no need for a bass petal. I really like the feel and fit of this neck. Although I have small hands it still fits.

There is a really nice bass to this, it's not as bright as stated in the description, but it's still very nice. Low strings make playing a lot of fun. In addition to test and adjustment verification, I liked the fact that it came with that. It was ready to play, and I played it at a church service the same day I received it, and it was amazing. The other two days, I practice with the band. I play five days a week and play the piano on the weekends.
