Questions & Answers

Is there a good way to fix the extreme neck dive that no one else has thought of?

One of these was purchased by me. I'm not sure what you mean when you say you're going to dive. I was prepared to replace the neck if it developed problems, but it remains in place. On the back, I reshaped it slightly. Kmise is the company from which I would order a replacement neck.

Is there a strap and a gig bag included in the package?

Yes. After July, all packages include the strap as well as a gig bag.

Is it possible to get a black pick guard for this bass (which is white)?

It'll almost certainly be necessary to purchase and install an aftermarket one. If you're going to do that, get one with upgraded switches and pots so it can solve multiple issues at once.

What is the weight of the object?

It's not heavy; in fact, it's one of the lightest basses I've ever handled, as well as the lightest of my seven basses.

For the price of a decent gig bag, you get a perfectly usable bass
5/5

I've been playing guitar and bass since 1965, and I was looking for a cheap knock-off guitar. "$63," he said, referring to the bass I could bring to camps and other outdoor events. What the hell, it's 95 degrees outside! " It was a pleasant surprise for me. br>br>I ordered the bass on October 29th, and because it isn't Prime, shipping was listed as free, but not two days. I was told I'd get it "between November and December. " The dates are November 5 and 11. "On November 1st, I got it! Wow. Excellent delivery service. The bass was delivered in perfect condition, packaged in a cardboard box with styrofoam reinforcements. It came with a low-cost cable as well as the Allen wrenches needed to adjust the truss rod and saddle. The body has a lovely off-white color to it. The bass's body is basswood, and it feels a little light, but the sustain is good, so I'll probably appreciate the lightness. It can be a little strenuous on the neck. However, it is quite heavy. The bolt-on neck could use a little more buffing for smoothness, but it's not difficult to play. It was under $65, after all. The rosewood fretboard has a nice grain (a little lemon oil brings it out), and the frets are smooth with no sharp edges. There is no serial number or even a country of origin on the outside of the bass, and the Fender-style bass has no brand at all. I'd rather have a copy head than some gimmicky off-the-shelf off-the-shelf stuff label of the company I'm planning on staining the head to add some color. The tuning machines appear to be well-built and operate efficiently. We'll see how long they last. br>br>The pickguard was covered in plastic film around the pots, which was a pain to remove. The knobs look good but feel a little light, with less "meat" than a real Fender. The pots themselves are smooth to operate, with great gradual changes in volume and tone, and work quietly (we'll see how long they last). br>br>The setup went smoothly. I'll have to tweak the truss rod and saddles a bit to make it perfect, but it's definitely usable right out of the box. I plugged it in and began playing music. br>br>At any given amp setting, the volume is slightly lower than my Washburn, and the fact that there is only one set of pickups limits its versatility; however, the tone is fantastic. The bottom end is good and strong, even when set to treble for more slap and picking sound. It'll cut right through a mix and, hey, $63 isn't bad either. Make no mistake about it. br>br> This is a beginner's bass in every sense of the word. That said, it's a great one, and one I wouldn't hesitate to use as a backup plan. back bass on a gig or to a location where damage could occur I would strongly suggest it.

Affordably priced, but with a nice bass! I thought I'd give a bass a try after years of picking up acoustic and electric 6 string guitars in the hopes of channeling Stevie Ray Vaughan, only to lose interest once I realized (again) that there's real work involved
5/5

I have no faith in my ability to stick with it, but I don't want to die without having tried it. So I set out to find the cheapest bass I could find on Amazon that was also playable. This guitar appears to have several different headstock names, but this one caught my eye because it lacks a name. It arrived in one box (not a box inside a box), but it was still in excellent condition. The pros: This item is absolutely flawless in terms of appearance (I went with red). Without a doubt. There are no paint flaws, splinters, dings, scratches, or other flaws on it that I can see. The tuners don't slip (I lubed them first as a precaution), the pots feel good, the electronics work fine, and the only issue I had was the E string buzzing a little. I adjusted the saddle height with the saddle adjustment screws, let it sit, tuned it, and it's now working perfectly. There are none at all. For about $65, it comes with a cable, truss rod wrench, and free shipping, so I'm either very lucky, or whoever makes these guitars actually cares about a guitar they're making for very little money. In any case, it was a positive experience for me.

It is excellent value for money
5/5

At this price, you really can't go wrong; mine had a perfect finish, no fret sprout, and was ready to play right away. It is possible that your results will differ. The lightweight body makes it neck heavy. br>br> A wide leather strap, as well as some lightweight tuners, would be helpful in combating this. This is essentially one of those kits that you see here and on eBay, but it has already been assembled for you. Take it apart and figure out how it works. If you want, you can change the strings. If you want, you can get some hotter pickups and solder them in. This isn't a difficult task. This is an excellent platform for a beginner or a modder. It's easy to set it up yourself to the action you like by watching a couple of YouTube videos. br>br>I decided to go with a short scale bass, so I passed this on. But I kind of wish I had kept it. I'm considering purchasing another one. You have nothing to lose if you buy now. You can pay for a couple of lessons with the money you save.

This is a fantastic product at an unbelievable price
5/5

I'm blown away by this bass guitar! I don't mind if it has a loose screw or a very high action if it costs less than $70 shipped. It plays better than you'd expect, but the power output isn't as high as a $500 bass. With an upgraded bridge and pickup, as well as possibly new strings, it'll be on par with the $500 bass. The body is light, which makes it top heavy, but I like it that way. I'm in a wonderful mood! The pickups on the P bass weren't properly screwed in, but a quick adjustment fixed that; The cable's adjustment tools will almost certainly be used. The sound is open and airy, but the power could be improved: (excellent item).

It is reasonably priced! However, it can be enjoyed
5/5

To begin with, this guitar isn't even $100. So, unless it arrives broken, it will most likely be worthwhile! Having said that, when mine arrived, it wasn't broken. There was a small ding on the back side of the neck, and the craftsmanship wasn't quite up to par, but then again, it wasn't a Gibson. It isn't a $2,500 Music Man, either. However, it is not $2,500! I had to pay 80 dollars. br> However, it's a very nice copy of a fender p and it's highly playable and has a great sound before you upgrade it, and you wouldn't even have to I bought it for my wife to learn how to play bass on because she's been watching me play for 40 years and wanted one of her own, so I bought her one and I'm impressed good enough for her to learn on. I'd even use it in a show if I could. br>I like it; it sounds great, and for the price, you can't go wrong unless they send you a bad one; I've read some of the reviews, so it could be a coin flip, but why not take a chance? You can always return it!.
