Questions & Answers

Have you picked up anything lately?

Not at all. The electric pots on mine have been rewired, so I'm happy with them. The team summed the signals for both pickups via the tone pots, instead of volume pots, which affects both pickups at the same time. Simple fix, if you know what you're doing. If you don't understand, I wouldn't recommend purchasing.

There are two versions of the GSM20 4-inch from Ibanez Almost everything about the glarry looks like the pickups, the headstock, and the tuning heads on the electric bass Is this strange?

This isn't a Gibson 335, Grote makes a Gibson 335, and IYV makes a Gibson 175 they are both Chinese knockoffs. I personally like this one the best... Strat and Teles are also welcome. Looking closer, you can clearly see the differences between the headstocks. I prefer my Glarry over my Ibanez due to the lighter basswood and the fact it's not as It is actually better to shoot the action than to watch the real thing.

This product is available in right-handed versions?

It is true. There is only one way to use it.

Can you tell me what the shape of the neck pocket is so I can replace it with another one if I buy this unit?

I might not have to have my neck replaced since it was in good shape.

It is great to hear this bass
5/5

Over the 52 years I have been playing bass, I have owned many Gibson (LES PAUL) EBO/EB3 basses Fender G&R basses Custom built Tobias Rickenbacker 4001 DAWK/Stillwell modified Custom built Music Man/ARIA pro to 5 strings. ***This Glarry IB Bass is one of the best Basses you can find. The fret work is EZ to play and the neck adj is fantastic. I was blown away by the quality. Intensity was perfect, intonation set up well, it has a great sound, and was too light for me to be able to move it around. It's hard to believe how well this bass has been crafted and how valuable it is. It is a bass I would have paid a lot more money for. What I really like is the appearance of the wood! No pick guard, just wood! more for a lot more expensive basses, but I put this right up there with the best new 'P' or 'J' bass i have ever played. The value of this product is fantastic! I suggest that you buy this bass if you want the best value!.

The packaging was terrible, but the bass was great
5/5

Having the bass arrive five days sooner than expected made my day. Seems like something has broken in the box with rips and tears and punctures on the While the bass was imperfect due to package damage appearing on the inside, I was pleased to find out it was in good shape. What a relief! Purchasing based on YouTube reviews and the low price was a no brainer. Under $100? You kidding me? Compared to other instruments over $400, this bass is hard to beat. If you were to buy the hardware unassembled in the U. S. , it would cost more than $100. My collection of guitars ranges in price from $100 to $2500, and this bass blends well aesthetically and in performance with the rest of the pack. If you don't read the logos on the headstocks it's hard to tell them apart. There is no difference in sound between the bass tones of the two basses. Other basses use passive pickups. Despite the weight of the body, the guitar has a good feel despite its lightness. I had no neck dive when using a standard guitar strap. Other Glarry bass models did cause neck dives, and I am glad this version did not do so. play a Hofner style bass with flatwound strings, and I absolutely love it. A bass with round wounds that filled in the Motown sound was what I was looking for. Basses such as this one are perfect for meeting the demands. I was also able to purchase the extended three year warranty for around $15 thanks to the inexpensive price of this bass. You get all of that for.

Although it is good for the money, it is not appropriate for a beginner "as it- The word "is"
3/5

I would have reservations about giving it to a beginner "as is" assuming the setup is adequate, but (other than that), the price (is important) is pretty decent The word "is". My nut and nut slot on mine are really bad and it has pretty cheap quality and build, but it actually looks very nice sitting on the stand. It has a lot of neck dive because the wood in the body is very cheap and light, and the interior work is pretty lacking. Almost immediately after removing my pots, I had to chisel some wood out from the inside so they could sit straight. The knobs rubbed against the tops of my bodies, so I had to remove them first. There was a lot wrong with everything it came equipped with (pots, pickups, etc) and I didn't like the way it was wired (both tone pots control both pickups), so I replaced everything The next step is to attach the strings, pots, caps, 1/4 jack, pickups, and nut. As I play it more, the plastic near the strings is chipping away as the nut is too high and binds the strings. The nut will need to be filed, since it's too high and it binds the strings. To fix the nutslot, the nut had to be removed as well. The bass guitar as it comes from the factory is actually a very poor bass With only $100, this is an amazing value, and for those of us who do luthier work or guitar tech stuff as well as chiseling, sanding, and soldering, it's a good investment. Although the build quality is appalling and the games do not have any real content, After dealing with the post-sales support I got, I am not able to give this a five-star rating. I wish I would have spent an extra $80 and upgraded to an Ibanez bass in retrospect so I could have had some sort of baseline quality build. I had a ton of fun upgrading and learning guitar tech skills on this guitar, and I really enjoy playing it. There's no doubt why it's gotten so many good reviews (it's also a good deal for the money), but I just want to let people know that it still needs a lot of work before a beginner can use it. The letter P. I would appreciate it if the seller or manufacturer could tell me which Graphtech nut is supposed to be purchased for replacing the damaged one. It is bad enough that I will measure it and such, but that information should be readily available on their FAQ page or something. The nut on it has to be replaced regardless of how horrible it is. The letter P. While I have attempted to contact Glarry, the manufacturer for support, I have yet to receive any support, but I now receive spam emails daily from them. Thanks a lot!.

A new update has been made! It's AMAZING! I can't believe it! Is better than expected
5/5

A hundred dollar bass wasn't going to get me anything. It arrived a short while later. It is not an Ibanez at all, it is a knock-off. My Ibanez TORTURES the back of my neck, so I would prefer this over it. With this, we're not so lucky. As with my Gibson grabber, the action is similar. You will understand what I am saying if you have ever played a grabber game. If it returns, I will buy it in a variety of colors! It's amazing how good this guitar is. Can't tell you how much I love Due to the fact that it isn't one solid piece, it is two and the seams are close to the top nut, I can understand why the necks were busted. Are you looking for a way to teach your kid? It's a great product and I would get it for them at any time. A RECENT UPDATE! I just wanted to say a few words. It was my second bass purchase since I liked the first one so much. As well as the red one, I now have the one in purple. Afterwards, the guitar was again a beautiful piece that even survived being handled despite being beaten up a little. It was all I could do. . . . please, please do not have a broken neck, gorgeous Ruby guitar! Chichi LeVeau loved it! That, too, is fine with my little dog! As for the neck, it needs a bit of oil and buffing, but I do that anyhow since I am particular about necks.

This bass guitar is stunning
4/5

That my order had arrived days early was very exciting for me. My attention was drawn to a scratch on the face/body of the guitar as soon as I opened the bass. I have updated it was a convoluted procedure, I was able to order a second bass guitar that did not have blemishes or cracks. Your efforts to make it right are much appreciated!.

The unit is a good bargain considering its price
4/5

The frets are well-done, as well. These pots seem fine. The neck is a bit heavy, but not bad (the body is very light in basswood). An easy to tune instrument. A reasonable setup seems to have been achieved. The hardware on the bridge was very basic and wasn't heavy duty, but it was fine. A lowering of the action is the next step. I would like it to be better, but it is not terrible. It is typical for a string at this price point to be of good quality. For its price point, this is a very good bass.
