I just got this in the mail yesterday. I plugged it in, and wow! Considering its price of $98 and how well it plays and sounds, it is incredible. As wide and thick as a fender P bass, and as long as an Ibanez soundgear, the neck of this bass is slim and long. It did not look like anything exciting, but I was absolutely blown away by it. Furthermore, it's as light as a feather and as sturdy as a rock.

As the fretboard looks dry, I would suggest using a fretboard oil every time you change strings to moisturize the wood. This will improve the look and feel of the fretboard. Feel this way I just love the way it feels, the back of the neck was left unfinished so the movements over it are smooth as glass. There is a C shape on the neck and it is not too large (some necks are shaped so that they feel large). For me, this neck feels good Because it is very light, the instrument resonates well. Whereas more expensive bass guitars weigh quite a bit, closer to 10 lbs, the one I own weighs in at 5 lbs. The weight is 6 pounds. It is in good condition with a few dents and dings, but it sounds great. It has been a while since I checked this set, maybe it didn't pass inspection, or maybe I got one that's broken. This is still a great price for a bass of this quality. I'm totally satisfied with my purchase.

The bass costs under a hundred dollars, so it's a really good deal. It's obvious that material quality is low, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. The fret edge is not too sharp or too high. Now the high E saddle and the truss rod are really adjusted and it plays pretty well. As far as the neck is concerned, it definitely feels raw and could benefit from some oil. I'd recommend it to those who are new to beaters or looking for the perfect.
