Can you tell me what model number the cello is?

The style and color of the cello allow you to differentiate the models of our electric cello, but the model number on the cello is not visible.

What if I want to run this through an amp?

In fact, yes. There are also cellos that use Aux cords and amplifiers that use quarter inch cords, both available from music shops and online retailers like Amazon. It may be a good idea to experiment with guitar pedals to achieve the right sound. You can imagine it as an electric The text is fairly plain on its own. This is a pretty cheap item, and mine has broken now after using it for a long time. If you take good care of it, it will last a long time. You should also. It's not safe to use those headphones or that case. The Cello is not cheap, but it's still worth the price

Is this cello possible to hold without a lower bout on the left side? During what time of day do you move ?

Yes, in order to level it, you can use your right knee and the chest support You can watch the following video on YouTube The piano guys play "cello wars" A good value for the money and practice, but a Yamaha is a whole other classification

Selected User Reviews For Cecilio CECO-3BK Ebony Electric Silent Metallic Black Cello in Style 3, Size 4/4 (Full Size)

The price and quality of this cello are just amazing! All the best to all of you! The first thing I want to mention is that I am a classically trained cellist and have been playing for 11 years
4/5

A few years ago, I began dabbling in amplification and the application of effects to the cello. I began using a Fishman C-27 when I first began this journey On my acoustic instrument, I have a 100 cello pickup. strongly recommend this pickup for anyone who intends to keep their acoustic instrument for use with an amplifier. If you are going to record on an L, be sure to buy the L preamp. It is bags. I am not the kind of person that would like to learn on this cello. understand why the cost effectiveness and silent nature of this instrument is appealing, but this instrument demonstrates its full potential as an amplification and effects instrument. Then I will give you In the mail, I received the cello in the same manner as every other Amazon package I have received. The box was larger than I expected, and was well packaged for delivery. It comes in a pretty large box. There is no need to worry about this instrument being Upon opening the box, I pulled out a plastic bag that included a basic pair of headphones, the 9V battery to power the instrument, and an adapter to connect it to a 1/8" to 1/4" jack (male to male). It has so far been smooth sailing. After that came the gig bag with the A student acoustic cello comes with a bag that looks like the basic soft case you would get with this instrument. I wouldn't call it great, but it wasn't horrible either. It is unlikely that this cello will find a hard case. The bow that I've taken out is a basic student bow, as I expected. There is no longer rosin spray available, which is too bad considering the weight was quite light. You need to rosin in for a long time. As a bonus, the bag also contains a cake of rosin and a dust rag. As of yet, there has been no problem. The instrument itself is next. As soon as I opened the gig bag, I was ecstatic to see my new picking it up, you will notice that it is not flimsy at all, and the paint job is very impressive. A smooth surface with no marks or blemishes. My white one came with no bridge (thank goodness), so if there was damage, I could spot it. If there was damage, I would notice it. It is in the same small pouch found on the front of the bag along with the rosin and rags. It should also be noted that the strings are already attached, but need to be tightly wound. I have read a lot of complaints about this cello in the reviews, but if you have a solid understanding of the mechanics of a cello, you should be playing this thing in 10 minutes or less The time remains. In the following paragraphs, I will provide a few steps that you may find useful. You should not rush to put this thing together. (I did not find a manual or instructions with the cello) Do not be in a rush to put this thing together. Give it some time and think it over. The following. You need to loosen your fine tuners and make sure they are moving freely. Complaints about their unwillingness to move have been made. WD-40 helped make them even smoother, but to make them even better, I sprayed a tiny amount over the whole thing Put 40 lbs of force on the tuners and fully tighten and loosen I liked how easy it was to use. This note applies In either case, you have either loosen your tuners too much or the little nut at the beginning of each tuner needs tightening up. There is no need for tools. * B 2. Taking your pegs from the scroll, loosen them up. It was jammed in a bit, so I had to pull them out and loosen them to free them up. There are some reviews that say the pegs don't stick, but peg oil solves that. My choice was to remove the strings and wire them according to my style, so I removed them and wound them how I liked. (There are videos and topics on the internet if you are unaware of how to wire a cello string. Strings were not wired on the peg in any good way, but no damage was done to the instruments. You now need to make sure the pegs rotate smoothly in the peg box once they've been loosened. It might be possible to smooth out any roughness around the peg box holes with some sandpaper, but I did not find it difficult to operate the pegs myself. Three key points. The strings should only be loose enough to allow for the bridge to fit on We hope that all the experienced cellists can rejoice that they do not have to worry about the sound post or how the legs and body will fit properly. This works perfectly on a pickup truck. You should have no problems placing the bridge since you do not have to push it or align it with the fingerboard. It is VERY IMPORTANT to take the following steps If you want your upper register to have a 1/2" gap between the strings and fingerboard, then you will need to lower your bridge. I haven't done it yet, but simply mark the string notches on the bridge and sand or file the bridge down to the I. ) *
*4. As soon as your bridge is in place, tighten the pegs and tune as you wish. You'll have to stretch your strings for the first couple of weeks, as any experienced cellist will know. Your order will need to be reprocessed Get the cello strings to become more flexible by tuning it frequently. You know what you get by looking at the price, you won't get anything great. Strings for the cello can be any acoustic type. Your strings will match your cello's body and tone, so it's not necessary for you to worry about it. You don't have a body for your cello! As a replacement for the given strings, I used a basic set of Heliocore strings and they worked perfectly. The fifth point Having fun with your new instrument is a great way to get it tuned up. If your bow is not well rosined, please make sure. A lot of work needs to be done to make it perfect. Cellos with acoustic action work great as silent practice cells, but note that the cello's sense of touch is substantially different from that of an electric. It is because of this that you should learn acoustic music! First, it will seem that it is awkward to hold, but once you get used to it, it will seem natural. Without a plug, you might be surprised at how little audio comes out of this unit. Lastly, I am excited to show you the amp and pedal board that will be on the back of the cello. On the back of the cello is a black box we will use to amp the instrument. You should first make sure you have a charged battery and that your cello is turned There is a switch that turns it on and off, and a red light to indicate that it is (Shut off your cello or you will kill the battery. I think you will have to build a new habit out of this. 4) Connect the 1/8" end of the 1/4 to 1/8 cable to If you plug it into an amp, the 1/4" end can either be plugged into a pedal board or a speaker. I think it will sound good on the cello. They sound a bit like cellos. It's kind of like that. How it works depends on your amplifier and its settings.

If you plan to use this cello for awesome effects and such, then here is my pedal lineup for you to check out how I shape my sound. Notes on the Cello The following. Theodore B. The Volume Pedal can be used to increase and decrease volume. The following. I Wonder Why Baby Wah Cries So Much You're not allowed A distorted version of Lyon The following. The Head of the Department A 3 phase shifter is used for three different phases. The following. C. E. O. of Boss This ensemble consists of five voices The following. The Boss Compression and Sustainer — The following. It has EQ built-in, which is a very handy tool. The following. It's a RV This is the 5th and final digital reverb. The following. Modeling of delay times with Line 6 DL4 The following. A bass amp (DUE TO SUCH DEMANDS, USE )

In order to keep the characteristic smooth sound of the cello, you will need an equalizer and a compression sustainer pedal. There is no need for the reverb, but it really does give the tone a great sound. You should do some research before buying pedals to make sure you are getting what you want. pedals, as you can see, but that's simply because I like them. ** B - All in all, I think that this cello was a fantastic purchase and I am more than satisfied with it. The cello was up and running and sounds wonderful after some maintenance and care. If you are looking to play the cello with some awesome effects, this is the app for you. With a flip of a switch, your cello can become a heavy metal guitar or a Bach Prelude cello. Please feel free to contact me for any more questions you might have about the cello or to let me know if you found this My goal is to assist you in any way I can.

It consists of something built, something sounded, and something tuned
5/5

I live in an apartment building and I was looking for a cello with a silent sound that I could use to practice in the evenings and at night, since I'm a cello student. So having accomplished research online, I found that electric cellos have a quiet sound when they are not plugged into an amplifier, and having already owned a very nice cecilia accustic cello which has a lovely tone, I had no problem wanting to own an electric cello. The cecilio electric cello has a lovely sound and is built well, it was pretty easy to tune right out of the box and I did not have to replace or alter any of the parts including the tailpiece, tuning pins, pegs, bridge, or the strings. In addition, their cellos are easy to tune and hold a tune for days at a time which is a blessing. Overall, I am satisfied with my two cecilio cellos and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a quality instrument at an affordable price.

I was surprised at how bad this product was
3/5

It's okay, I know that this is a lower end cello, so I wasn't expecting to get an amazing product with thousands of features Regardless of the the end product quality, at $300 I should expect a product that works and is in one piece. It arrived quickly, and the packaging was strong, there were no dents, holes, scuffs, etc. There was a lot of padding within the boxes to keep it safe from moving around. I was impressed by the protection the additional packaging provided. Because I assumed the item inside to be in great shape, I assumed it would be in perfect My first experience is that when I plug in the battery, turn on the device, and plug in the provided headphones, the headphones are broken, and there isn't even a crackle coming from After I replaced them with a pair of quality headphones I own, I was finally able to hear sounds. In that case, I can move forward to the second problem. Without any contact with anything, the noise coming from the headphones was loud, crackly, hissing and popping. As the background static was too noticeable and loud to pick or play any of the strings, it was impossible to pick. On the back, there is a piece that folds out to rest against your chest. This is held in place by 2 screws that fold in and out. Unfortunately, the screws in the holes had stripped out to the point where they fell out and the chest rest fell off. In addition, some of the tuning pegs did not turn or stay where they were turned, despite the fact that the strings were still very loose. Overall, it felt very poorly constructed and as if anything could fall off at any moment. So I promptly returned the item in order to receive a refund, hoping to save money to purchase something of higher quality in the future.
