Selected User Reviews For Rhythm Band 8-Note Glockenspiel, Multicolor
These are what I use in my music classes with children ranging in age from three to eight years old. Excellent timbre; To change pentatonic keys, the bars are designed to be easily removed. As a result, I would not recommend these as a toy, but rather as a high-quality musical instrument!.
If you move or invert this, the bars will not stay in place. If you don't mind repositioning the bars all the time, it sounds great.
Having the ability to remove the bars is fantastic!.
This has a lovely tone to it. br>In my music studio, I use them. br>Lynn Kleiner of music rhapsody uses them, and she is the one who introduced me to them. br>The bars are simple to remove and replace for use in Orff activities (e. g. , gymnastics). establishing a pentatonic scale)br>They're a big hit with the kids. They frequently prefer them to my expensive Orff xylophones and metalaphones. br>I love how the colors have changed to rainbow! br>AND NOW THEY CAN BE USED WITH MIKIO YURKO'S MUSIC MIND GAMES! GENIUS! br>At first glance, this appears to be a toy glockenspiel, but it is actually a very nice musical instrument. It is appropriate for children aged 3 and up. br>Perhaps a few precocious two-year-olds, but it is not a toddler toy and should not be treated as such. There are plenty of other instruments to bang on if you just want something to bang on with a bad tone that won't fall apart when abused. This glockenspiel produces a high-quality musical tone and offers a wide range of musical possibilities. br>DO YOU LIKE IT?.
