There is not much Java red since Java green is more soft. My results are neither too good nor too bad.

I like these reeds because they are firm. My patience with reeds is like that of Goldilocks. I couldn't find what I liked to make me sound better among some that are too hard and some that are too soft. This is what I like.

This Java Reed is highly responsive and features a good user interface. The Rico Plastic cover in my saxophones had been serving me well for years before I discovered this Java Red reed has very responsive tone and is definitely the best option for modern jazz players.

i recently switched from another brand that i purchased in a music store to Vandoren reeds

i am completely happy with this product. The items I bought on Amazon were quick deliveries, so I needed something fast. The problem is that I like these so much I have bought them consistently for several years. In my experience, the reeds seem to be generally of good quality (I am a sax player, so I am accustomed to a percentage of reeds not functioning well, whichever brand I use).

Using a box made it easier to use for marching band I found that one reed lasted me for a long time, and it didn't dry out fast.

Size 2 of vandoren java in red

Compared to the green 2, I think these last longer. I am not a fan of 5 which get too A green 3 was useless as it was too soft, and a red 2 had a much stiffer feel than a green When using a size 6 MPC, there seems to be a lot of.

I like the tone, but there are some reeds in the pack that are not very good

The jodyjazz 7m and my Yamaha 5c mouthpiece work very well together because of its rich sound. I would recommend this company as my favorite. For anyone who is uncertain, make sure to check out their variety pack! I must confess though that we did have a few failures in the mix This seems to be the rule rather than the exception. I am satisfied with the purchase as a whole.

Anyone who plays the saxophone knows that out of every ten reeds you may get six really good ones that sound good right out of the package. To remedy this, I have made a few adjustments and continue searching.

I bought this on behalf of my granddaughter for her birthday. Taking her saxophone seriously is really important to her. Another student in her high school jazz band recommended these to her.
