For a cane reed, it's of excellent quality
4/5

These reeds were purchased for my Maui Xaphoon, which I recently purchased. Rico 2 was included with the Xaphoon. 5 reed . As someone who is new to reed instruments, I found the 2. 5 is regarded as being excessively difficult. The Rico 1 is the first of its kind. 5 was much more effective for me. These are good reeds at a reasonable price, with quick shipping and individual cases that are well-packaged. This is a good choice if you like cane reeds, but I think I'll go with a synthetic reed instead. I have nothing against Rico cane reeds, but I prefer synthetic reeds. I used both Rico 1 and Rico 2 on a cheap FarBoat pocket sax. 5 and 1 for Legere. 5 reeds made of synthetic materials I prefer synthetics, despite the fact that they are much more expensive.

Is a hard worker who knows how to get the job done
5/5

These reeds work well for me as a beginner on both the Alto and Tenor. Because I go through them quickly during the learning process, I gave them a low durability rating. Although an artificial reed may last longer, the Rico reed is significantly less expensive and, when combined with the Yamaha mouthpiece, is ideal for someone just starting out. I've noticed that as I improve, my reeds last longer as well.

reeds of high quality Good set, consistent from reed to reed as far as I can tell, much easier to use than the 3's I had previously, and they don't bottom out as easily as the 1
5/5

I had fives as well. I believe I have discovered my go-to source of information. I've been wanting to learn how to reed for a while, and now all I have to do is practice.

Rico is the only brand that I use
5/5

Rico reeds have always been my go-to reeds. From the time I first learned to play in elementary school until now, they have always been my first choice. I've experimented with other brands, but Rico reeds remain my favorite. They simply work for me, and I have no reservations in recommending them. I've been playing tenor sax for over 35 years, and they've always been my go-to instrument. Because I use the bottom lip manuver on my mouthpiece rather than the teeth method of biting down on my sax mouthpiece that the new generation is being taught, Rico reeds may be a good fit for my playing style. In any case, I consider them to be a win.

It's practical
5/5

My teacher advised me to buy a name brand reed instead of the ones that came with my new saxophone when I was a beginning saxophonist. I purchased the Ricos because of their favorable reviews and recommendations. They're compatible with both the saxophone's original mouthpiece and the Rico B7 I bought a few months ago. It's too soon to say whether I'll be a cane reed or not. user or a reed made of synthetic materials user, such as those made by Legere? The Ricos have been performing admirably so far.

This reed isn't very good! The reeds' durability is terrible
3/5

One has been chipped away while in use, and another has become unplayable due to warping. Already, money has been squandered on this product; these reeds are not worth the money at this time! They're overpriced and unworthy of your money, especially when two out of three are useless!.

Excellent value for money, with a medium level of quality
3/5

Beginner and intermediate Tenor Saxophone players will benefit from these reeds. Rico is a well-known brand with a long track record of excellent customer service. Each reed comes in a handy case with an opening on the long side rather than the short side, which helps prevent reeds from becoming stuck in the cases while also protecting them. The reeds are durable and can last for a long time. They do, however, get dirty much faster than the other reeds I've bought. As a result, replacement is required on a regular basis. br>However, when compared to the prices charged by competitors, this is an excellent purchase for most Tenor Sax players.

What a fantastic purchase! Ricos is a fantastic brand, and my daughter's teacher has nothing but high praise for it
4/5

According to my daughter, it's a higher-quality reed than the ones that came with the instrument, and it's at a great price!.
