Questions & Answers
A reed's effectiveness for jazz or concert band isn't determined by the reed it is affected by the mouthpiece and the reed. On the baritone sax, for example, you may want to use a mouthpiece with a tip opening of 7 or 9* with a strength 3 reed, or a strength 2 reed with a tip opening of 9 or 9*. A larger opening for the tip The reed is softer and the tip opening is smaller A harder reed, as well as a Reed Strength Tip Opening of 1 1/11*. I give it 5 out of 10* *br>2 out of 9* *br>3. Five eight eights **** 7 seven sevens **** 3. Five 6/6* (And they also work really well with five fives*) Four five five* Four. A 5/4 is the highest opening, followed by a 53/*Below*. It's possible to play anything below a 5/5*, but no baritone sax player that I know plays it.
The color of my son's choice is green. At a Sax clinic VanDoren supported, he might have had the opportunity to try both, and since then he's used the Green. It might be helpful if you can find a store that will sell them individually so your child can try both to see what they like. Reeds, in general, are a personal choice and something you cannot usually determine from another person.
There's a label on the box which states so.

Reeds made by Vandoren are without a doubt the best of the best. The majority of my time playing saxophone has been spent using them. The Bari reeds, in particular, have been amazing and have allowed me to perform to my best ability. It would be best to stick with the Red Javas, as they are more exciting than the Greens in my opinion.
are the reeds that have the best performance straight out of the box and will stay crisp and clear for three hours.
the things I resort to on a regular basis My Bari student has the reeds I just bought for him, and I'm new to them as a tenor player. In Vandoren's analysis at least, these are the second hardest among the traditional reeds. I have read some reviews that state that these are the hardest, but they aren't. Even a broken horn can be sustained by them because they have a very centered tone.
I love this product.
The saxophonist in my family is a professional. They were prompt in their arrival. Saxophonists swear by these reeds since they are so precise and precisely made.
This reed I bought because it was inexpensive and I was under the impression that it was They were not the real thing, according to me. I noticed that the color was wrong and that there were no serial numbers. Unfortunately, the reeds were of poor quality and did not play well. It turned out to be the real thing when I got another box.
I am happy with it.
It would be perfect if.
