Selected User Reviews For D'Addario La Voz Baritone Saxophone Reeds, Medium Soft, 5 Pack

It is said that a voice is a voice
4/5

Reeds for the bari sax Those Reeds are awesome! My skills as a saxophonist are average, and I'm not a professional or even experienced musician. La Voz is the first brand I've tried. I've tried other brands for years, but never Despite the fact that the reed produces a very soft tone, I was impressed by its response and tone. The medium hard strength was stiffer than a 3 even though it is a medium strength. In other brands, that number is 5. In order to get use to the stiffer response, I have had to lightly sand the faces of several reeds. The reed would be of utmost benefit to anyone who wants to find ways to improve their current instrument's tone. I would like to thank Mr.

Oh my god, that is hilarious

Take your money and use it responsibly. Therefore, it's pretty clear that the reviews for it were all bought. An incredibly disappointed customer who was tricked into purchasing these slabs of wooden garbage was tricked into purchasing them. A box of 10 medium-sized chocolates was bought by me We received 5 hards, 4 of which were cut improperly (the base of the reed went all the way up the side), and 3 of which were so thinned out at the top that they were physically unplayable for any good sound In the case of the 3 that did work, they died out after a week and the sound quality was the same as a standard Rico size 2, which is Vandorens is the way to go. Waste of money in every way. Reeds are extremely expensive to begin with, so I've never felt so cheated out of money before. Despite trying to find a way to give a 0 star review, I'd find a way to give below that amount. If you are thinking of buying Rico reeds, be extremely cautious. In Rico's eyes, quantity is much more important than quality.

It is unusable
3/5

In addition to playing the D'Addario reeds, I have also played or recorded all of the Vandoren reeds for baritone saxophone. La Voz is the first time I have ever purchased a product, I would never use any of the three available reeds on a performance, and of the 10 I made, only 3 were usable. As a result, they could only be used in the most strict The price that was charged for these items is not even worth the value. The best option is to get any other reed from D'Addario or Vandoren.

These reeds are good at a decent price
4/5

Normally I use Vandoren reeds, however these are a great substitute for daily playing (since they are about half the price of Vandorens). In general, you get what you pay for with these headphones, but the price is very reasonable and they are an excellent value for the money. I would recommend them to any level of player. Amazon offers a convenient and easy way to place an order.

The LaVoz reeds I've received are the right stiffness for me and very consistent across the board with the rest of them.

With their sound and ease of playability, they are a 4 or a 5, but are not as difficult
5/5

Bari started at the beginning of sixth grade, and the reeds my director gave me were usually standard Vandoren reeds with a strength of three or four. The Selmer C* that he ordered for me has made me the 5th overall and I now have the reputation of "over-achieving" We make any brass sound loud enough in my band (Even on band trips, when 7A bands march, we march 3A) because I play really loud with the correct reeds because I play really loud. The reason I usually purchased Rico more often than Vandoren reeds is that they are generally more playable right out of the box, produce a better tone of sound, and as such I usually purchased the Rico Royals strength Normally, I'd purchase reeds at a music store for $5, but my mom got these on sale, so I bought them for $5. Having grown up with 4, this was a huge change for me. A few days ago I decided I was going to be looking for a 5s, as I had a problem with medium-sized homes I was familiar with "hard" reeds as I was at the opposite end of the spectrum with the hardest strengths, but I gave them a try and fell in love with them. I got a rich, full tone that I only get from high quality reeds, but I was able to play it right out of the box and it Reeds that used to only last a few weeks because of hairline cracks in the middle are no longer an issue as they have so far stood up to as much air as I have been pushing and the sound produced is not as flat or distorted at higher volumes. They have the tone quality of a 4 or 5 but the ease of a 3. Their quality is comparable. " said a friend of mine. You should get around 10 boxes if you buy 5.
