Does it have a softer sound than Yamaha's?

Yamaha hasn't been on my radar, but I find these thumb rests

What type of rubber are these? Do they feel hard or ?

A hard rubber is used for them.

There is no point in using the bqlzr because the rubber is so hard. Would you be able to describe the softness of the canomo compared to the Bqlzr?

Although I have not personally handled the BQLZR, the rubber on these appears to be firm and supple. If that is a helpful comparison, it is almost like eating a fresh gummy bear.
