Questions & Answers

What does it sound like? Does it fit in with the concert band well?

An easy way to blend in is with this mouthpiece. Although I use handcrafted jazz reefs, I am still able to blend in perfectly with the concert band and to project as well as stand out when necessary. With this mouthpiece, you are able to use basically any genre with it and still be able to

How can I tell if this is ?

You are right, it is Metal is definitely not a suitable material for a

The following is an email message from Jody Jazz dated NOTE ON SOME IMPORTANT CHANGES TO JodyJazz SPECIFICATIONS FOR 2019 If you haven't already, we would like to let you know that JodyJazz will be introducing some new specifications HR* Series
JET Series
GIANT Series *br> *br>Starting February 1st, 2019, as part of the HR*, JET and GIANT Series, a ligature and cap are no longer included. Costs have been rising steadily for the past couple of years, which forced us to make this decision. It's our goal to keep the MSRP of the HR* and JET Altos and Tenors at a level that is under $200 for as long as possible. With these cost increases, we can only accomplish that by removing the ligature and cap from the package at this time. These models do not have a price increase, but they will no longer come with ligatures and caps. You should take note of the following Note This section applies only to HRTM series, JET series, and Giant series. It is generally possible to find a wide variety of standard ligatures and caps which fit these models Throughout the year, we will continue to offer the ligature and cap packages on an individual basis. In addition to our power ring ligatures, we encourage you to consider these models as well. For orders received after the effective date of February 1st, 2019, the specification will reflect the formal change and products will ship without the cap and ligature

I have ever seen a better mouthpiece
5/5

Easily one of the best pieces I have ever owned. In order to play the 4c correctly, you'll need the JET if you're having difficulties in the high or especially in the lower past D. Jet sounds as if it were connected to an amp, and the sound just blasted out of it. I felt no hesitation going to low B flat as I went to them with no problem. Those of you who have never spent more than 30 bucks and wonder why you aren't able to play better would do well to try this. The mouthpiece is the most important part of our body. The one that you're looking for is this one. The item I received did not come for.

A great amount of expression can be achieved with this instrument, and it is very fun to play
5/5

Regardless of the instrument, this mouthpiece is my "go to" for both alto and tenor. You can control it in a very expressive way, and it's a lot of fun. In the case of gigs where you need a mouthpiece, but can't afford the high dollar models, then this one is absolutely worth $199. This is by far the best investment you can make for your playing, outside of the actual horn.

Any standard of acceptance would be unacceptable! It is unacceptable that quality control was not met! $180 was the price I paid for a new mouthpiece
3/5

A used and dirty mouthpiece was shipped to me for $20. 00 plus shipping. Not satisfied with this purchase at all. You not see the gunk inside of it, but it looks good and feels good.

It is of excellent quality
5/5

Despite its modest size, this mouthpiece is of very high A high and a low can be played with ease. In my opinion, it is worth a try. A weakness of my MP is that it does not come with a ligature or a A combo like this should be offered even at a higher price, just a thought. It has been an excellent purchase for me.

The material is easy to cut through. Playing with a metal mouthpiece almost feels like using a metal The blowing process is very simple.
