A soprano may be able to do this, There is a reed that does not sit correctly on the mouthpiece, causing it to buzz, despite the mouthpiece fitting around the neck and the ligature circled the mouthpiece

There is no way it will In general, the mouthpiece has correct proportions but the bore is too wide for the neck of a soprano saxophone. mouthpiece still has an obvious gap near its edge, and the cork on my saxophone is new almost. To me, anything that won't seal is of no use. As part of the manufacturing process, the edges of the mouthpiece were sharp and should have been filed or polished.

It has been scratched up

After opening the mouthpiece, we discovered that the finish had been damaged. I found it to be scratched a lot. The situation does not please me in the least.
