This mouthpiece is amazing, and after trying several over the years, I believe I have found my favorite. However, mine arrived with a scratch on the top and some missing paint, which is terrible after paying over $200 and still having these defects. I then proceeded to order a second one, but the second one did not sound the same, it was a tad brighter, and middle C was low volume and muffled for some reason, luckily I still had the first one. br>br>The odd thing is that I bought the same mouthpiece from the same seller, and each one came with a different letter engraved inside the mouthpiece, the one I love has AF, and the one I return has OT "see photos. ".
Sounds like a soprano! One of the most outstanding-- in fact-- the following- best-- I've tried a soprano mouthpiece. (My personal favorite is a one-of-a-kind piece. ) Soprano Planet made a mouthpiece for me, but the maker no longer sells it- That's what prompted me to give the Selmer a shot. )br>br>It sounds great on my Selmer Ser 3 and vintage Beuscher Bb and C soprano saxes. It has a very pure, flute-like sound to it, in my opinion. Classical tone, for example, is something I prefer in my soprano sound. Of course, all sound is dependent on the synergy between the player's oral cavity and mouthpiece, so I can't guarantee that it wouldn't make someone a good jazz piece. However, I would look elsewhere if I wanted a jazz sound on my soprano (as I do on my alto and tenor horns).
Excellent tone, with both low B- and high B- notes being relatively easy to obtain. F- with a flat and high pitch sharp. Above the high F-string, I even played a high G. sharp. This was my wedding anniversary gift, and I absolutely adore it.
Responds quickly and blows freely. This is an excellent mouthpiece. Responds quickly and blows freely. This is a great mouthpiece for my Selmer Series III Soprano. It's very versatile and loud. It's not difficult to get used to this mouthpiece. This is now my "go to" setup!.
I'm not a pro player by any stretch of the imagination. Simply do it as a pastime. I haven't experimented with many different mouthpieces. I decided to buy something more expensive to see if it would make a difference. br>The ones I've tried are relatively inexpensive. br>Yes, it did. It's difficult to put into words how it sounded to me, but it was "warmer. " br>I used a Van Doren 2 for this project. A five-reed instrument and a three-reed instrument. With this mouthpiece, I really like both of them. br>The three a little bit more. For $151, I found a fantastic deal on Amazon.
Excellent response time and focus.
I've been looking for a mouthpiece like this for a long time, and it really improves the sound of my Soprano. Bravo!.
Todo bien.
