All my ligatures will not fit this mouthpiece because the mouthpiece is too fat. In fact, even the vandoren optimum barely fits when the screw is fully tightened. What suggestions do you have?

Rovner is also a part of our team. This is a good fit.

Comes with ligature & cap with this MPC?

Yes, I purchased an Optimum Ligature separately from Vandoren Medical. An additional cap or ligature is not included with the mouthpiece. A Selmer Concept is my favorite mouthpiece by the way.

The tone quality is great and the instrument is easy to play

It is the perfect companion for my bent soprano sax and that is why I use it so much. Even though I am a beginner on soprano sax, this mouthpiece is very easy to play and sounds fantastic. Additionally, I have a Selmer Concept mouthpiece that is warmer than the one I have. It really boils down to taste which is better since both are quite good. As this mouthpiece is a little larger than I am used to, I had trouble fitting my Rovner Versa ligature. I was able to get a Vandoren Optimum ligature that works well.

The mouthpiece in this case is excellent for soprano saxophone playing in classical settings. When you buy Vandoren mouthpieces you can expect consistency and high quality An excellent product. This is a highly recommended book!.
