Questions & Answers
Yes, it was a perfect fit for my 5c daughter.
Because the 6c's mouthpiece tip opening is only slightly wider than the 4c's, this cap should fit. Because these caps are cheap, I'd get a 6c cap for a 6c mouthpiece if I were you.
Because the sizes are different, it will most likely fall off.
Get your alto sax ready to play by visiting your music teacher or a nearby music store. If you're getting ready to start lessons, they'll tell you what mouthpiece and reed you should use first.
Selected User Reviews For Yamaha YAC 1645P Black Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece Cap (YAC1645P)
It isn't as yellow as they advertise, which is a good thing in my opinion. Who wants to match their sleek, slender, lush Golden Saxophone with a yellow/beige cap? The color is black, and everything else is exactly as described. I keep my mouthpiece and cap in my bookbag for school, and the cap frequently falls off (this is the only model I've ever owned), which is a pain because my reed cracks frequently (I also keep my reed on my mouthpiece for school). If you're going to keep this in your saxophone case, it's deserving of five stars. Although it is made of plastic, it will protect your mouthpiece. If you're like me and don't care about keeping your mouthpiece in good condition, I'd give it a 4. In my bag, it just keeps falling off.
It's a good fit for my Yamaha 4C alto mouthpiece. br> Yet another excellent Yamaha product!.
It is well-made. made with care appears to be in good condition. It does exactly what you'd expect it to do, and it looks exactly like the picture.
This isn't the case. It just flies away. Made for a low price. Very slender. It was a waste of money.
As it should be, it covers my mouthpiece. It's all good.
That is precisely what I was looking for. On the Yamaha sax mouthpiece, it fits perfectly.
