I bought this 3C with no knowledge (as a beginner) of the various mouthpieces (sizes, materials, etc. ). If you want a good mouthpiece, skip the 4C and go for a Meyer, Vandoren, or Otto Link. one "down" The only reason anyone would want to play on this 3C is if they have a facial physical or dental issue that necessitates such a small tip. the start chamber.

For new players, this makes a huge difference

A few months ago, my son began playing the alto saxophone. We started going to band after renting a beginner instrument from a local music store, but my son had a lot of difficulties playing. I picked it up and tried to play it, but it was difficult even for me. I assumed it was leaking, but when I looked at the mouthpiece that came with the rental, I noticed that the tip opening was about twice as large as the opening on my tenor. I got this mouthpiece, and now we're both able to play comfortably. Mouthpiece with a lot of versatility

For a beginner saxophonist like myself, this is an excellent all-around mouthpiece. I needed a mouthpiece that I could use with some of the softer reeds, ranging from 1. 5 to 2. 5 and be able to play competently for a novice. This one is a little more user-friendly than my Yamaha 4C Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece. Yamaha makes mouthpieces that are designed to be easy to blow because they are so passionate about their musical instruments.
