I have one, and it works well for me, but the feel and sound are unique to me. Perhaps you should give it a shot. If it's not what you're looking for, send it back.
The chamber volume of the S90 is larger. On vintage saxes, it sounds better (at least for me). S80- D has a slightly wider tip gap, the same facing length, but a smaller chamber volume (narrower cone profile) that works better for some on modern saxes or French bore designed instruments.
