Questions & Answers

Will it be able to transport a clarinet, b foot flute, and piccolo in the same bag?

Two instruments are separated by a divider in the main compartment. It can hold two flutes, clarinets, or piccolos at once.

Is the case's interior identical to the protec's? (Saxophone and neckpiece shaped) Isn't it true that I don't want my horn to dance while I'm walking?

No, the interior is flat, with a Velcro strap to keep the upper part of the sax in place, and the neck is kept in a pocket on the outside.

Is this case compatible with horns that have a larger bell, such as the cannonball big bell stone series?

This bag is where I keep and transport my Selmer Mk VII Alto camera. I don't own a saxophone with a larger bell, such as the Cannonball, but the bag on my Mk VII appears to have plenty of room, so I'm guessing it will fit horns with larger bells. I hope this information is useful. Best of luck!

For those who walk a lot, this is the shoe for you
4/5

This bag is AMAZING and is perfect for my needs. I used to have a Reunion Blues leather gig bag, which is also very nice, but I always had to bring a second bag with me for my music. I live in Chicago and get around by taking public transportation and walking (a lot). The RB bag didn't fit as well over the shoulder, and carrying two bags was always a hassle. I can put my real book in this bag, wear it on my back, and forget about it. br>br>The extra waist straps are useful for long walks, and they can be easily tucked away if you don't want them (which I usually don't). br>br>I've walked miles with this bag, and it's not a burden at all because it's so sturdy and comfortable. I can't tell when I'm wearing it because it's so light. br>br>The only reason I gave it four stars is that it isn't as secure as most other hard shell cases. There is no such thing as a cut-and-dried solution. There's only one big pouch and a Velcro strap in the bag for the saxophone. You must exercise extreme caution to avoid colliding with objects, as this is clearly not as safe as it appears in some cases. Some key guards are a good idea, in my opinion. You can also put a towel in the bag with your saxophone to add some padding and fill up the space. br>br>A slightly larger music pouch is also something I'd like to see. I don't want it to get too big, but there's no way to fit more than one book in there. Overall, I would recommend this bag to city dwellers who walk a lot, such as myself. If you don't go for long walks, I'd recommend something with a little more protection.

If you're going to use it in the real world, it's a WORTHLESS bag! We bought this bag for our 13-year-old son, who is a member of the Middle School Jazz Band, because he bikes to school every day and needed a bag with backpack straps
3/5

We began using his sax in September, and after two months, his instructor informed us that several components on his sax were broken. When we take our sax bag to be repaired, we're told it's WORTHLESS because it has no strong, protective sides. When we contacted the vendor, we were told it was too late to return, that it would cost us money to return, and other such nonsense—don't waste your money. Look for a bag that will keep your sax safe. I'd give this a big ZERO if I had the option.

Well- backpack that is well-made and comfortable Backpack of excellent quality
4/5

There could be a little more space for music binders. The small pockets for the neckpiece, ligature, and other accessories are also nice, but they make putting everything together a little more difficult than in a standard case where everything is in one basic area.

This gig bag is a hybrid of a sax case and a guitar case
4/5

This gig bag is a hybrid of a saxophone case and a multi-compartment backpack. I traveled to Japan with my alto sax for a two-week trip, and the case performed admirably. I was able to carry this gig, as well as the matching large Fusion backpack, with ease thanks to the large padded straps for my shoulders and waist.
