Questions & Answers

Are both the G- and the G- and the E-string Gold string?

In fact, only the G is gold in this set.

I've got a violin that needs to be looped. string. Does that mean I'm out of luck with evah pirazzi gold?

No, you can still get Gold if you have a Loop E. "Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Gold Violin String Set - Piastro Evah Pirazzi Gold Violin String Set - Piastro Evah Pirazzi Gold Vi Gold Wound G (Gold Wound) is a character in the game Gold Wound Loop E - Medium"

Is there a set of these? with the strings g, d, a, and e?

It's a complete set, yes. Strings E, A, D, and G

Would these strings work well with a violin that has a warm tone?

Yes or no, depending on your preferences; if you want to brighten your instrument, I'd suggest something else. These, on the other hand, should be a good fit if you prefer a warm tone balance.

AMAZING RESPONSE TO AN INCREDIBLE TONE! This is the first time I've used an Evah Gold with a Gold D
5/5

I've used and enjoyed the original Evah Pirazzi strings. These are absolutely fantastic. My Roth immediately opened up and embraced the strings like no other instrument I've ever used. I used Vision, which was a good buy for the price, but these sound even better at nearly three times the price! The D and A take some getting used to, but the overtones are incredible. The E, on the other hand, is sublime, and the G growls like an old Chevy. The gold G really brings out the depth of these older instruments, and the Roth's are known for their dark sound, which these really help to bring out. They appear to have acclimated well to the instrument due to its excellent tunability. As previously stated, the D and A are still adjusting, but I'm confident that in a few more days they'll be just as good as the E and G. The Silver G is next on my list. However, if you're looking for a string that will enhance the sound of your already excellent instrument, these are the ones to go with. It is pricey, but it is well worth the money. You get the depth and richness of color that you've only imagined. I'm concerned about how long they'll last because the original Evah Pirazzi only lasted a few years. Hopefully, the cost reflects the improved string's longer lifespan. In comparison, I've used PI Thomaski before and they've lasted a long time, so hopefully these will as well.

The texture is buttery smooth
5/5

Shipping was very quick. I've only ever used dominants in my life. I've never had the financial means to invest in something better. I used to have gut strings on a student violin back in the day, but it wasn't noticed because I was more intermediate at the time. Wow. What in the world had I been thinking all these years? I've been playing the violin for nearly two decades and have finally upgraded to these. I'm sorry it took me so long to find out. Amazing reaction time and silky smoothness all the way to eighth place. My violin is a modern model, and the mellowing yet powerful sound it produces is fantastic. They add depth without detracting from the brightness. if that's what you're implying? Now I'm able to play without difficulty. My chords and articulate string cossings feel a lot more straightforward now. Obviously, each violin will be unique, but I only have one thing to say to the dominants: goodbye and good riddance. I'm going to try some obligatos and other higher-end Pirastro items. I have no intention of going back. I'd say the E and G stand out the most to me (at least on my violin), and they're also the most important to me. There's a lovely slight echo between the D and A. I'm thinking about replacing and mixing the A. We'll see how it goes with an Oliv or something similar; it's not quite as good as the others, but it'll do. In any case, these are excellent and well worth the investment. Unless they don't work on your violin, no advanced player will be disappointed with these. You'll be in heaven if you use it with evah gold rosin:.

After only three months of light use, the string is about to snap
3/5

Now A is on the verge of exploding. I bought it in June and began using it in early September; however, by the end of September, the D string had begun to show signs of damage. It'll snap at any moment now. I can't believe it won't last even four months. I'll wait to hear what the retailer and manufacturer have to say about it, but I won't be able to recommend it if they don't stand behind the product's quality. br>(Update: ) Shipment to Germany necessitated a replacement, which they provided for free. The A-, on the other hand, String began to exhibit a similar problem after our violin teacher pointed it out. I'll have to write them for a replacement, but in the meantime, I'm going to get a set from a different brand.

The sound is responsive and beautiful, with a lot of clarity
5/5

Worth it. The money was well spent. I was anticipating a more complex sound, and these did not disappoint. I had no idea that strings, such as these, could make playing easier. That, I suppose, is what it means to be "responsive. " I'm a beginner who has been playing for about 7 years. The difference in sound and playability provided by these strings has opened my eyes to what I might be able to do in the future, which is encouraging motivation to keep going.

Smooth, lovely, and mellow are three words that come to mind when thinking of this song
4/5

They're nice strings, but I think they're too mellow for my Czech violin from the late 1800s. They have a nice gauge and are extremely smooth. However, I prefer a slightly thicker sound. They were able to settle after about a week of daily play. They have a nice ring to them with open octave pitches, but not as many overtones as the Thomastiks did. The Evah Golds sound great in higher registers and stay in tune (I don't have to tune them very often). However, if you want a smooth, clear sound, they're a good choice. More complex overtones and sounds are probably my preference. These are still some of the most beautiful strings I've ever heard. I was awarded the Gold G- It has a silky texture to it.

I've had these strings for over a year and can confidently say that I enjoy them and will purchase them again in the future
5/5

I've never really experimented with the quality of materials required for my instrument until I purchased these strings as a young violinist who's been playing for about 8 years. I've had these strings for over a year and I love them. I'll definitely buy more when my current ones wear out. Of course, it will take some time to "break in" the strings, which means you'll have to tune them every week or two for a week or two, but the sound quality is fantastic. Going from the basic strings I had to these was an eye-opening experience for me. I'd also suggest pairing it with gold rosin; I've found that the two complement each other nicely.

Violin Strings of the Highest Quality - They Make a Significant Difference! I've been using Dominant G- for a long time
5/5

For my violins, I use Pirastro Gold Label E strings, which have been thoroughly tested and proven to produce exceptional sound. I was impressed with the sound of Evah Pirazzi (EP) Gold strings after watching a YouTube video last year that compared various violin strings on the same violin. However, I had been hesitant to buy them because they were twice as expensive as the Dominant combo. My curiosity finally got the best of me last month, and I bought and tried them out. "WOW," I exclaimed as soon as I heard them. " G-'s buttery smoothness The tone quality of the string (Gold wound) was simply unrivaled. In comparison to the Dominant combo, other EP Gold strings are also outstanding in producing warmer and more focused (concurrently) sound, but the improvement on the G-string is particularly notable. On my violin, the string stood out the most. For my best violin, I believe EP Gold strings are the best option. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the results.
