This string is good value for money, with a slightly brighter, warmer tone and a good number of layers. For the first six months or so, it sounded surprisingly "juicy. " Because I can't afford to buy new strings right now, this one has been on my violin for nearly a year, and it's only recently started to sound "bad. " For the first six months, it is remarkably stable. I'd go a couple of weeks without having to tune it. Overall, it's a good budget string and a great choice for students.
On my violin, which has a darker tone, they sound great. If I were a professional, I'd probably return to Evah's or a similar brand, but I only play at home and don't require the best strings.
Thanks.
The audio quality is excellent.
I'll most likely place an order for some strings.
