Three of these were firmly anchored into a hard plaster wall, and they were solid, sturdy, and well constructed. I would recommend it and purchase it again. I like how the violin tuners are above the fork and that the bow has an extra tip.
I was pondering what to do with my son's viola when I came across this. He doesn't play anymore, but I wanted to keep it, so I put it up in my listening room. This mount is just what I was looking for.
My violins of various sizes have good hangars! I ordered six, five of which were the same type of wood and one of which was not. I wouldn't mind the lighter color if I'd only ordered one, but since I'm displaying a set of six, I'd prefer that they all match: ) I've placed an order for a replacement, and I'm hoping it'll be the same as the other five!.
