This kind of plastic is hard.
This is a cello that we are using at the moment for my young son, so it is 1/2 sized. If he is not playing, his cello is held tightly in place. Rubber bumpers are on the bottom and side of the stand, and padding is on top. On top of that, the instrument rests on and against the wood. My guess is that a full sized cello will rest on the bumper and maybe the padding on top as well. The saddle is not padded to fit his instrument, so we have never had a problem with it. The fact that this stand doubles as a seat is very convenient due to our limited space. I think it would look good in the space, too
Yes, I am. As far as my full-size is concerned, it works fantastically. This would also work for a 3/4 or a 7/8 but I am not certain. My full recommendation for this product is that it is really wonderful. The stand and chair can be easily stored when the instrument is out, and it prevents the need for storage space when the instrument is out.

Much nicer than the previous version. In reference to my height, I am a 5'1" and I find it works just fine for me, but I believe it would also work fine for people who are taller or shorter than me. I was able to put it together easily and quickly. The product appears to be durable and of a It is not the prettiest piece of furniture that I own, but it's not bad considering most of the time it is hidden behind a pretty violin.
Only complaint is that because it is so easy to put together, so is it to take apart. In my apartment, I have little room so it sits next to the wall in between uses and I pull it out into the room when I practice. If I pick it up from the top, it would fall apart. It's an annoying problem, but it's okay. We all deal with it. A good lock would be useful if the manufacturer could figure out how to make it convenient to use. In spite of that, I'm very pleased with the item.
My son plays the cello, so I bought it for him. It is a single-player game Hands-down was the most transformative thing that happened to him This allowed him to put the cello in an easy, attractive place while giving him a seat that would give him excellent posture while playing the cello. Additionally, since the cello is being held and not sitting in a case that is collecting dust, it is a good reminder for him to practice. By the way, It is very sturdy and it comes apart, so it can be packed flat for use on the go. In addition, the parts are of high quality, so I think it will last for generations. THIS IS PROVEN TO BE WORTH THE COST if you're looking for a chair/stand that's versatile and will stand the test of time. I am so happy I found it. I have one more thing to say There's no need to worry about this being fragile for an adult or too rugged.
The interlocking structure is beautiful and I'm so happy with my purchase! Pieces of the puzzle fit together perfectly. It took a moment for me to figure out what to do because I have poor writing skills, but I was guided by the diagrams and just looking at the assembled stand. There is a padded seat and it is I've gotten it. Now I need to practice.
It's great to have such a great stand. I think the cello is extremely well supported and my daughter can play it with no problem since the seat is just right. My only wish is that there was an attachment for a bow. A perfect solution would then be realized.
That's such a much more comfortable seat than a hard chair, and I love that it can also function as a desk.
Product was great and we are very happy with it.
