Questions & Answers
It may work if the shape is similar to that of a cello. It is not compatible with if neither side has an arc structure.
My cello fits perfectly into those arms - It is possible to move them up and down. It is not necessary to bend them. The cello leans against the back, the arms prevent the cello from moving in any direction, and the endpin is inserted into a small device attached to one of the feet. I hope this has been of assistance. This pleases me greatly - stable and easy to transport

I have to close it from time to time, but I can open it in a matter of seconds. My cello psaltery's bottom pin practically finds its own pin support: The pin support is designed to match the rest of the stand and prevents lateral movement. I AM SURE THAT THIS STAND WILL NEVER NEED TO BE REPLACED AND THAT IT WILL ALWAYS BE WITH ME. I can't believe I was able to get it for such a low price. It appeals to me. —Musician in a Good Mood.
It's a lot more portable than my at-home setup. The stand is completely stable and at home. The end pin rests in a small stand at the bottom of the cello, allowing it to be extended. The height of the stand can be changed. It comes with a bow holder. It's simple to fold up and fits into a small space. I'm very happy.
This device is ideal if you don't want to lay your cello on its side for short interruptions. I have a standard cello stand that works well for longer periods of time, but the endpin must be retracted and then extended for use. Although seemingly insignificant, anything that reduces practice inertia should be considered.
It works great for all sizes of cellos, and we bought it for my son's youth size one.
My grandson is now practicing on a more regular basis.
This is an excellent product.
It's what my son uses at home, and it's great.
A granddaughter will receive this as a gift. It does not come with any instructions on how to put it together. I was unable to locate an instructional video on YouTube. It doesn't appear to be as stable as some of the others.
