Questions & Answers
I'm not sure if a 1/4-size upright bass would fit in it. We have a 3/4-size cello that works perfectly.
Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Our stands are sold to a wide range of retailers and wholesalers. They are free to charge whatever price they want for our products. We don't have any say in what they resell. With COVID on the rise, we also noticed that several of our Dealers were selling our products at or even below cost. Finally, this stand was redesigned within the past year, and some may have been sold at a discount after the new version was released. Due to these factors, we are unable to say why you may have seen one price one day and a higher price the next.

This is something we recently purchased, and it appears to be of high quality. I just wanted to let you know that the picture of the cello leaning forward appears to have been put together incorrectly. (I did a test by switching the bottom legs around, and it looked exactly like that. ) — If you flip the bottom pieces around, it will lean correctly. ) However, the vendor failed to include any instructions, which would have been beneficial. It's actually quite well-made and sturdy. For the price, it looks amazing with the cello.
This purchase has made me extremely happy! Although it did not include instructions, it was simple to assemble - Although figuring out which way some of the parts face took a little trial and error. It also came with a small rectangle of plastic (I believe!). ) was not part of the stand; it was probably a leftover from the manufacturing process, but it was perplexing because I thought I needed to connect it somewhere. In any case, none of this lowers my overall score. Note: The bow hook is located at the very back of the bow; It'd be on the side, I assumed.
Overall, the stand is well-built and will serve its purpose well. It has a good latch that keeps the cello in place and prevents it from falling out, which is reassuring. The bow hook has a janky feel to it in terms of how it sits on the back of the stand, but it does the job. The cello sits at an awkward height, which is the item's biggest flaw. Because it is so close to the ground, you must always reattach the end pin when you are finished practicing. The reason I bring this up is that they make cello stands that sit high enough that you can leave your end pin out while transitioning to playing the instrument. It's also a little annoying that every time you want to take a break, you have to pit the end pin back in place.
Purchased for the cello of my granddaughter. It's now ready whenever she wants it to be. Sturdy.
It's very effective.
I like that my cello is no longer scratching the wall. The strap that goes over my strings is also one of my favorite features. br>br>It irritates me that the bar on which my bow rests moves around when it feels like it.
No good. Right out of the box, you've got a defect. It's all leaning forward at the moment.
