No, I do not believe so. It will accommodate a 16-inch laptop. Violas of 5 to 17 inches in length, but no longer than that and no shorter than 14 inches in length.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this inexpensive shoulder rest; I've previously used Wolf and Kun, so I'm comparing it to them. I can tell it's very comfortable after five months of use: The cushion isn't of the highest quality, but it still feels great and has held up well after extensive use in hot and humid conditions. It has a significant impact: Because the plastic does not bend like the Kun, it never comes into contact with or scratches the back plate of the instrument. It's tangled up: This Kun does not move or fall like my previous one, which was very slick. The materials aren't the best, and the plastic appears to be low-cost, but the overall design is appealing. I'm hoping it stays in good shape for a long time.
PS: It won't fit a lower bout that's wider than 10 inches, but I've got another 16. This shoulder rest cannot be used with the Tertis model 5 viola.
Viola (15") is a perfect fit. It sounded too good to be true, even to my daughter's string teacher. There's no need to buy the $32 versions of these sold elsewhere because it's the perfect fit for a perfect price. This $18 shoulder rest is stylish, comfortable, and performs admirably. This is a purchase you will not be sorry for.
When my daughter's Viola was upsized to a 15, she required a new chin rest. 5 Viola. She claims that it is comfortable for her to play in, and that the price is reasonable! It's a win-win situation for me and my daughter. It comes highly recommended!.
