Some market the cello product as either a cello or a I'm not sure how to describe this. The bass endpin on my guitar is thick, and I wasn't convinced it would hold in the circular design found in the cello product. This one uses a high-V design instead, however, and it isn't While some criticize the cello product for being too short, there is an edge to this one that is on the lengthier side of things. I cannot place the ring under the holder of the endpin if I place it under the foremost stool leg. It would be good if the strap could be tucked under the back foot of the stool. Having a long endpin I play pretty far out for someone who's 6' 2".
Maybe there are nice floors you wouldn't want to damage, or maybe there are tiles. Additionally, the rubber foot that covers the spike on my endpin leaves stains on some floors, as well as slipping Some people feel it is difficult to find the little chevron with their endpin, and this is a complaint I have heard. My opinion is that it doesn't take long to master, just a little practice. In my opinion, this product is highly recommended!.
As advertised, this product does exactly what it is meant to do. I have purchased three of these in the past three years, and this is the third black one I have purchased, as it is unnoticeable on stage and in bass cases. To start, insert a pin into the black square of the end of the end tab. On the other round circle, you place your stool or high chair leg. There is no substitute for this item if you play double bass sitting down.
I love it. By protecting the floor and retaining the end pin, Xeros succeeds in retaining the pin. Despite how well it adheres to the floor, I am surprised at how well it adheres to the ground. If you push the bass, the end pin will not be able to move side to side. The only negative I could find is that this. I shouldn't admit it, but it felt less than positive to me. Even so, I prefer this solution to the old belt I used to wear with a leather strap glued to the back.
It is useful to have this product on hand in case of an emergency.
I've tried this on my kid who plays bass, and it works great. It prevents the big instrument from slipping, which, as we all know, is a BIG problem with bass. It even convinced her teacher, so he ordered one too.
The bass works perfectly with this bass * the grip is very sturdy.
