Questions & Answers

Is it possible to get these in 3 3?

6th in line

Are they going to fit on a Squier Mustang?

In the worst-case scenario, you may have to drill the holes out a little without looking at the tuners on your Squier. This, on the other hand, is a breeze. I drill a hole in a scrap piece of wood to make sure the tuners fit snugly first, which shouldn't be an issue.

Is this going to work with my sg standard?

These work on a 6 in line configuration like a strat or tele head, but your SG is a 3x3 and requires that configuration, so no, they will not work or fit.

Is this something that could be used in b. ironbird c rich?

They might work, but they're cheap and don't always work brand new. I'd recommend Sperzel, which is more expensive but well worth it if you want something that actually works. I'm not familiar with the Ironbird, but Sperzel sells both 6 in line and 3 in line. They come with hardware, so they'll fit any guitar; they may not match the exact screw hole, so you'll have to make a new one; however, the screws are self-starting, and all you need is a phillips screwdriver (small) to screw them in; the shafts, on the other hand, will match almost all guitars; however, I wouldn't waste your money on these cheap ones; I tried them and they failed the first time; they're very cheaply made

If you read my comment, you'll see that they're not bad
4/5

These tuner sets have been purchased by me. They've served me well in the past. I've noticed a lot of complaints about skipping, slipping, and being too loose. If you install these, make sure you tighten or loosen the small Phillips screw on the wind wing to properly set the pinion tension. While turning the tuner wing, it should be set to a good snug feel. This eliminates all slack and eliminates the possibility of skips and slips. It also makes it easier to keep the tuner in place. It's also possible that when the lock screw is tightened, the smaller strings will refuse to lock in place. By unscrewing the lock screw cap completely out of the tuner body, you can remove it. Turn the lock peg one full turn out of the lock cap. (Because the pin has thread locking compound on the threads, you may need to lock it into a small vice or use Vice Grips to hold it) Replace the pin in the body and try locking the string again. That ought to suffice. Note to the producer; The locking pin should be approximately. 015 in for a little longer to get rid of the issue.

Guitar Parts at a Good Price for the Other Guitars in Your Collection
4/5

br>br>Following the installation of four complete sets with black or chrome finishes on various Ibanez and Jackson instruments, as well as a vintage GTX33 from Kaman Industries forged in the late 1990s. The 18:1 ratio makes these a great deal. To quickly raise pitch tensions, use 1:1 ratios. Unlike some more expensive brands that use a short floating pin, they have an integrated set pin that follows the string lock knob and retracts easily as the knob is turned, making them less likely to get stuck. They add some extra mass to the bolt on style beauties with knife edge floating tremolos, which helps with the sustain. Yes, the locking nuts are attractive, but these enhance the overall experience. br>br>During assembly and setup, they improved the efficiency of restringing. These all came with a good quality finish and are suitable for student through midrange intermediate instruments with no regrets, and they all installed and operated smoothly and reliably using either DR or Elixir coated strings with no negative issues. br>br>The tremolos are equally deserving and dead ringers for a wide range of metric - Instruments made in Asian Pacific factories. They fit a Jackson Performer (which was a significant upgrade over the factory item) and a GTX33 without any modifications. The saddles, metallurgy, and tone are all on par with mid-level guitars. br>br>Because they aren't "jewelry grade," they aren't suitable for those who want to make jewelry. The other well-paid guys' machines are probably a better choice in terms of level and vintage axes, but these and the tremolos still look great regardless. Overall, this is an excellent value for keeping in tune and headbanging. If you've ever seen a new Mitchell electric, you'll notice that the playability and sonic signature are very similar to the hardware grade being used as a comparison. These are good cubic zirconium if a five star is a diamond.

Excellent value for money
5/5

I took a chance because good locking tuners are hard to come by at even twice this price. I'm glad I took the chance. One thing to keep in mind is that you should inspect each one to see how far the lock pin extends upwards. Three went all the way to the top (for the smallest three strings), and three stopped just below the top (for the fatter strings). However, I will undoubtedly purchase a second set. They function just as well as my Fender locking tuners, but they aren't as attractive.

I am completely satisfied with my purchase
5/5

A high-quality, tight-fitting set of tuners that works flawlessly I got my locking tuners yesterday and installed them on my old trusty Fender Mustang this evening, resulting in a successful little project from start to finish for less than half the price of a comparable set of Fender Lockers. I am extremely pleased with the overall appearance, quality, and, most importantly, the key's tightness. This set replaced the original set of "wobblers," which was to be expected after forty years of use. Oh, the tales a guitar could conjure up! The chrome finish is slightly rougher in places than, say, a pair of Schaller's, but this is only noticeable when inspecting them in reflected light from six to twelve inches away. They put a lot of effort into dressing up the old lady, and the results are fantastic. The internal winding mechanism appears to be of very high quality, and I'd say they're at least on par with my Fender locking tuners, which I installed on my Strat after paying more than $60 for them (they're now $47). These new ones took a few weeks to arrive, but they were well worth the wait. This freed me up to do some other much-needed maintenance, such as leveling a problematic fret, that I'd been putting off. Hooray! Never again will you have to deal with those dreadful "Vintage Style" tuners without a hole in the post! It begs the question of who thought this was a good idea in the first place. One suggestion I would make is to spend the extra time needed to lubricate the mechanism, which smoothed them out even more. All of you have a great time playing.
