SE Tuners designed by PRS are a direct replacement. The footprint of the mounting screw on Vintage Style tuners is different.

These appear to be low-cost, but are they?

These aren't made on a shoestring budget. They're identical to the ones on my PRS S2 from the United States. They have a nice smooth feel to them, are precise, and don't drift.

Will these be a good fit for my Zach Myers prs?

Any PRS SE guitar should be able to accommodate them. They've done a fantastic job on mine.

Will these work on a McCarty S2?

Because the McCarty model uses Kluson style tuners, you'll need to dowel and redrill your holes.

Put these on your SE for locking tuners if you want to keep the PRS look

These are identical to the tuners on my PRS S2 in terms of feel and functionality. I didn't have any tuning stability with the stock SE tuners, so I always put locking tuners on to minimize slippage and make quick string changes a reality, and these didn't disappoint. br>br>Value for money is what it's all about. Well, that depends on whether you want these's look, feel, and function or something less expensive. br>br>These are, in my opinion, a no-brainer upgrade for an SE - They aren't, however, the only alternative! If I ever get another SE without locking tuners, I'll buy it again.

Equipment that has been previously used The first set of these tuners I got was already in use

So I returned them and went out and bought a new set, only to receive the same set back. Basically, I paid $10 more than the retail price twice for used equipment.

These tuners are nice, but they're expensive, so I changed the buttons to dark rosewood and it made a huge difference

The tuner buttons should be black. The locking pegs are a subject on which I am undecided. They're screws made of black plastic. I don't feel very solid, but we'll see what happens.

Exactly what I needed! On my PRS Custom 24 Laurel Burl, it took less than 5 minutes to install

The screws that came with the kit were also excellent. The new strings fit perfectly and remain in tune!.

It was a perfect fit and improved the appearance of the guitar. It's a step up from stock tuners in terms of tuning stability, but it's no gotoh.

If you buy an SE, the first thing you should do is read the manual. That's fantastic! Quick string changes, a nice break angle off the nut, and overall high quality make this guitar well worth the investment.

No drilling is required because these tuners are a direct replacement for stock tuners of excellent quality. This is a must-have for any PRS SE, as it makes tuning incredibly stable.

For PRS SE models, this is a fantastic upgrade/modification. I ordered a second set for a new Custom 22 Semi-automatic rifle. a body that is hollow During a setup at my local guitar shop, they were installed.
