These were played on an Esteban Classical Guitar, which was relatively inexpensive. The tuning pegs broke frequently, and their large size made them difficult to locate. I took a chance and purchased these tuners. Although the quality is about what you'd expect for the price, they do the job. These would not be appropriate for a high-end guitar, but they are ideal for my Esteban. It was a no-brainer to spend a few dollars on these instead of a lot of money on a new guitar. This purchase has made me very happy. I took measurements and matched them to these tuners. It was a perfect match.
Exactly as stated in the description It arrived on time.
It was the ideal size and fit.
Great.
I repair and sell guitars, and the parts I order are always of excellent quality.
I've never changed the tuning mechanisms on my guitars before, so I was unsure whether or not to get this. I was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was to set up. The job took some time but was relatively simple, and the results are far superior to those provided by the factory. I loosened my strings and placed a capo on the upper neck to keep them in place because I didn't want to make a complete change because the strings were fine. I finished unwinding the strings and removed them, unscrewed the screws, and gently pulled the rest out. It was a simple process. I believe I installed this one, but I had to use a drill to make tiny little holes for the screws because the holes weren't perfectly aligned. I used the tiniest drill bit I had on hand, and it worked perfectly. Restrung and tightened as needed. To get where you want to go, you don't have to do a lot of turning. When tuning the D string, there was some skipping, but it did not slip. When I was doing it, I had to adjust a couple of times, but that could have been due to the strings. How well it holds up will be determined over time. However, for the most part, everything went smoothly, and they appear to be a good fit. I don't play this guitar very often, so the results have been satisfactory thus far. They're far more appealing than the rest. The coloring is fantastic.
