This went with my Electromatic Gretsch guitar. There is something strange about the stock V tailpiece, and the break angle is inconsistent as a result. I got this one from Gotoh, and it works fine. To top it off, I also earned an honorable mention Due to the stock tailpiece not being able to wrap the strings, I had to wrap the strings myself. There is a lot of substance to this.

Cleaning is a must, but do not touch soft metals

I really like the look of these risers, only problem is the riser screws are easily dinged during adjustment, but that's a relatively common problem.
