6 strings 3x3 for the warwick thumb BO 1997?

Yes, this tuner is on the LEFT side of the head stock when looking at it from the FRONT.

Is this a 3/8 or a 1/2?

I no longer own that bass guitar, but I did recently order one of the bottom tuners. I used to have a Thunderbolt 5-string bass, and I used to think they were all the same. It matters whether you're at the bottom or at the top; However, I'm not sure if the 3/8 or 1/2 are correct. Sorry.
