Questions & Answers

Is this compatible with the EC256?

It will, in fact. I put it to use on my eco-friendly project. It was an exact match at 256.

My guitar is an Ibanez rgrt 6-string. Will this fit into a 43mm nut?

It's best to take a measurement of the top of the first fret to make sure it's 43 mm. These nuts are always a little too much for me. If your first fret measurement is 43mm, you'll still need to use a needle file to get the proper height for each string. So, if your RG has a 43mm nut as standard, this should work. However, be prepared to modify the nut in order to properly set it. If you're worried about the process or aren't sure what to do, talk to a luthier or watch some instructional videos on YouTube.

Is this going to work with my CD60S?

It should fit, but some trimming on the edges may be necessary to achieve a perfect fit with no protrusions. Because this is a'standard sized' nut that will fit most Gibson and Martin guitars, it should fit the Fender's standard neck width. If you're not a professional luthier like me, remove the Fender stock nut with extreme caution. Use an Exacto knife or a single-edged razor to score all edges where it comes into contact with the headstock and fingerboard. a razor blade with an edge Use a mallet and a square-edged hammer CAREFULLY once more. Lightly tap the Fender nut in the direction of the headstock with an edged wood block, and the nut should pop right off with minimal peripheral damage to the channel or'notch,' which you can 'clean' with a square needle file if necessary. Please consult your local luthier or guitar technician if you have any doubts about the difficulty of the task to avoid damaging your instrument.

Will this nut fit on an esp ltd te 200 guitar? I got the one that was recommended, but it's a little short on the low end. ?

Greetings, br>br>Normally, we would recommend the PT- 6642- If that was the nut you originally ordered and it didn't work because of the height, the new one (PT-00) will work. 6143- 00) will be an excellent match. It has a population of about 1. If you require a taller nut, please send a request to our support email and we will be happy to go over all the fine details with you. If you need to do so, send an email to [email protected]. Please send us all of your required measurements so that we can go over them and find the best fit. br>br>Thank you, GT Customer Servicebr>

Exactly what I needed! There is no need to sand, shave, or adjust! I have a 2018 Les Paul Custom, and she not only looks great with her new black Tusq, but she also sounds fantastic
5/5

String height and fret buzz were a problem (the old nut was worn down from heavy strings and a lot of use). Although the top two strings were grabbing, this item is a complete blessing. Not to mention the people at Music Gift Plus's prompt delivery and excellent customer service. They included a handwritten note, some candy, and everything was beautifully packaged. Thank you, Myles and Teresa, for being so wonderful.

It's a good product, but it's difficult to put together on your own
4/5

It appeals to me, but it does not enthrall me. First and foremost, do not attempt this installation unless you are confident in your ability to set up a guitar. The original nut was higher, but the Graphtech nut was lower. It was also necessary to sand the bottom, as is customary. However, I was unable to get the guitar to tune properly, so I had to replace it with the original. Another thing that irritated me was the fact that this nut makes a very bright noise when you crack it. When you drop it on the table or the fretboard, it makes a plinky sound. I'm not going to take it to a luthier because that doesn't appeal to me.

For this nut, a little tinkering will be required
4/5

The slot for the strings is very small. To make the nut play great, expect to do some minor alterations. br>Overall, this is a near-essential upgrade from stock.

It was ideal for my off-the-grid living situation
5/5

brand SG. My Talent guitar's PO had filled the nut a little too much, causing string buzz, so I needed a new nut. It was ideal for my "off-the-grid" situation. SG "brand".

Excellent service and prompt delivery

I will definitely order from this store again. Item arrived in perfect condition, and I am extremely pleased with it. It was a perfect fit for my Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top Pro guitar from 2019. Hopefully, I'll be able to purchase additional upgrade parts from this seller. The tootsie rolls that came with the order were a delicious bonus treat!.
