Depending on which Squier Jazz you have, this should fit. More importantly, there are specific steps to follow when removing the original nut and replacing it with a new one. If you want the best results, you should take your bass to a Fender Authorized Technician.
It should, but I'd double-check with a quick Google search.
It was simply a matter of dropping it in and everything fell into place.

Selected User Reviews For Fender re-Slotted - American Series String Nut Precision Bass
Fender nut for the P- bass. Of course, all new guitar/bass nuts require trimming, slotting, and sanding.
The P-series has a standard width of 655". bass. What I got was a one-of-a-kind item that was valued at $1. 53", which is the perfect size for a jazz bassist. To be clear, I can still put it on and string it up, but it completely changes the feel.
On a 1993 MIM P Bass, I replaced a broken nut. Fits snugly in the slot. To match the previous set action, I had to sand some of the bottom and the groove on the G string. A total of approximately 15- It's only 20 minutes long, but it's well-fitting and produces a rich sound.
This looked great on my MIM P-90 with a standard fit. Bass.
This is a good replacement for a four-string P bass that is of good quality. You may need to adjust the size to fit, but it's fairly accurate (and nuts usually fit snugly). If your P bass's nut needs to be replaced, I'd recommend it.
My Precision bass has found a new home.
Fit perfectly in my 2010 Standard P bass, but it required some sanding for my early 1990s Precision "cowpoke" PJ bass neck. Even though it was my fault, the Jazzbass nut might have been a better choice.
